The accommodations were lacking. The room I chose was falsely represented as oceanfront when it has no view of the ocean at all. I inquired about it within an hour of checking in and was told I would have to pay $80 a night to move to an oceanfront unit. The pools are in need of maintenance and need cleaned more often.

There apparently are MANY different properties under "Hollywood Beach Hotels", and different sized rooms at this property. We chose a good price, and got the smallest room we have EVER stayed in. But the location right off the boardwalk was excellent, and breakfast was included, so we were happy. Breakfast was a buffet of cereals, breads of all kinds, hard boiled eggs, oranges, and bananas.

Nice one night stay with friends.

The room was nice. It looked newly remodeled although there was no toilet paper dispenser and no place to put your toiletries. The small kitchenette met our needs, although you have to ask for kitchen supplies which was fine too. The free breakfast is okay. Don’t expect sausage, bacon or scrambled eggs.. Excellent location. The beach is steps away. The pool area was okay as well. Bring your own beach towel.

The pictures shown in the Expedia for HBH is fake false. That room looked nice. I have pictures of mold outlets that did not work refrigerator leaking. Had to check out 2 glasses and cups. They were chipped the ppl that rent this out should be ashamed. Plus upon arrival they had ys on second floor no elevator. My husband and I recently had hip and knee replacement. No way were we getting out bags up there. Then waiting an hour for a room. Told 10. Twice we cam to our door. And could not get in. I have to say the staff took alot of getting yelled at for how we got a horrible room. Please contact me for some of the pictures. I can go on and on. There was no bed lights, coffee, bedside shelves and the T V didn't work well at all. Also had to walk 2 blocks to my hotel room with my luggage and then to another hotel to the pool. I have a bad back and foot and can not walk much. Because there were so many properties checking in or getting any info. Etc. Was hard because they were always so busy. I will not go back there.

Kitchen box was not offered at the reception at the check in, had to go back and get it, but was quick to collect the deposit at check in . This room is not, at all, how it is pictured in the sales ad. It is a very low budget room. There were no night stands in the room, no phone, cups, hangers, etc. It was as if ai went camping. breakfast line was out the door and they scrutinized everything you got. It was garbage food anyway. There is no balconies on the rooms, and only a few rooms have ocean view. Oh, and the King is a full.. not even a queen, a full size. They ought to be absolutely ashamed. And Hotel.com should be, too for not looking further into this. As far as Im concerned I was scammed. I created a complaint bc I want at least 1 night reimbursed for the blatant lie and false representation of this hotel. I in no way got what was advertised. Awful 😖 unfortunately, the add photos button is not working in the app. I have several.

Talked to the manager and was extremely rude answering my questions incorrectly and justifying the bad actions of his employees instead of addressing my concernes and apologizing for the inconvinient. Booked this as a package on Expedia. It’s an ok place to stay for the dollar value. However they lie about what to expect in their photos. Be aware that what you get is VERY different from what’s shown. It’s honestly well priced for the lower standard quality of room you get because it’s a good location. But on arrival they will tell you that you still owe a couple hundred more dollars even though you don’t. But you’ll be in a pinch so you’ll just pay to have a place to stay. It was a very frustrating first several hours to get a room even close to what I expected. Long line at midnight at front desk, I will say, though that the cleaning staff were very kind and polite. Overall, it is an OK place for the money but you just have to make sure that your expectations are very low and don’t believe the pictures.

Beware, do not stay here.

Do not stay here! The room was disgusting, filthy, grimey and unwelcoming. As soon as I walked in with my bf we started sneezing and had watery eyes. The mustiness mixed with fake smell of freshener was too much for us. We were there for about 3hrs and finally left to go sleep at a friend's house. We only returned to check out. The walls were brown and black not white. The surfaces sticky. The floors were supposed to be grey and they were literally brown. I want the property to issue a refund. Literally there for 3 hrs and we could t stand to go back. As soon as we left the allergic reaction of sneezing and watery eyes stopped.
