There are not many places to stay near Hillsdale, NY. The Brooks Motel is an exceptional find. A renovated 1950s roadside motel, The Brooks provided a safe haven for the night. A no host hotel, guests are provided by email a code for the keypad on the door. A text and phone number are provided to reach the host if something is needed. The hosts are quick to respond and very gracious. Beds are new memory foam and very comfy. My only complaint is that there is no carpet on any floor, only concrete.

Clean during rehab

The hotel feels like it is in the first steps of rehab. Walls/trim were painted without being fully repaired. The floors were painted concrete, I guess they ripped up the old carpeting to make it habitable before they had the money to replace it. concrete floors in the winter are very cold.

Niagara Canada is has a wild city center for families visiting the attractions. Kings Inn is walkable to everything without being in the center of everything, super convenient. Quiet and simple, it felt like a place I could take a nap between here in there or stay for aweek and be treated like family.

Had a lovely night at the Brooks Motel. It’s very well appointed with super comfy beds. There doesn’t seem to be staff on site but a number you can contact with any issues - we didn’t have any and it was not a problem for us. The room was clean and recently renovated. Close to lots of good dining options in Columbia county and the Berkshires.

The Brooks was perfect for what I needed - somewhere to stay after a friend's party nearby. The rooms are small but really well laid out and clean. It's my first time using the non-contact check in and it worked really well due to good in advance communication.

It was exactly what we needed for the visit. Clean room, tv, wifi, excellent shower, towels, coffee. It’s a little bare-bones (concrete floor and painted plywood walls), but noise wasn’t an issue. Seamless checkin and checkout. Would stay again.

Clean and Comfy

Great Beds, Clean and Simple - did not see where to control the heat - but weather was good enough we were ok. A few design flaws - TP holder could have been closer to the toilet and turned the other way to keep the roll on - and the light to the door was behind the door - blinds down still allowed outside light into the room at nigh(was traveling with my 93 year old Dad - so these were noticeable. Room was super clean - Beds Super Comfy and easy to get in. Great place when you just need a place to put your head down.
