There is not one negative thing about this motel that I can say. Location was right on the beach, the room was updated and very clean, the pool was pristine, the snacks and coffee were plentiful and the staff was so friendly and personable. Loved this stay and when we return we will be sure to reserve ahead of time.

This place is pretty cool, right on a nice section of the beach. The room was spacious and the beds were comfy. It was not noisy at all during our stay and the pool is pretty big. It's a smaller motel so staff are available and attentive. No charge to park as of this review, which influenced our decision to book with them. (Many competitors are changing guests $15/day to park). No hot breakfast here but good coffee and sweet treats provided in the office during morning hours. Center island location so breakfast is available nearby. Be advised that not all rooms include a microwave so plan accordingly. Nice cold fridge in our room. We will book here again in the future. It exceeded our expectations for the price. Sort of an old school, slightly funky beach vibe which was really relaxing and laid back. We experienced zero problems or issues here. Thumbs up.

What a great little beachside motel! We had a very pleasant check in experience and our room was nice and clean and cool. We did have a bottom floor unit, which was perfect for us to not have to navigate the stairs, but you do not have an actual view of the ocean. This downstairs room was also very noisy from others as they parked right in front of the outside entry doors to the units. The kitchenette was great to have. The renovations were done tastefully! It's an amazing little walkout to the beach - we even saw a tortoise laying her eggs in her nest! The motel is super convenient to shops and restaurants and Putt Putt, however only one restaurant is close enough to walk to - directly across the street! We would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our three nights staying for the first time as this small property on the beach. Hotel management & staff we interacted with were very friendly & helpful, responding quickly to any needs or questions. Although the rooms are basic, amenity wise, ours was quiet, comfortable & clean. We were surprised that the room had a mini fridge, so that was a plus for keeping snacks & bevs on hand. Also, centrally located on A1A, so very convenient for exploring the beaches & parks in the area. About ten minutes from downtown Fernandina Beach, with its nice restaurants, shops & bars. We came for a concert at the recently opened Tigre Island Room, a really nice live music venue downtown on 2nd St. We loved the budget friendly price! I expect to stay again, next time we come to beautiful Amelia Island, hopefully very soon.
