This does not meet the standard you would expect of a 4* hotel. The rooms are tiny, beds uncomfortable, had to lie the wrong way in bed to get reliable wifi connection and the 'bathroom' is an area of the room with an opaque plastic surround. The gym was awful - 3 pieces of equipment and the temperature of the sauna with no working AC. Pool is tiny. Staff were lovely and super helpful, but the best thing about this hotel is the lobby.

Nettes Hotel zu fairem Preis. Sauber, modern, alles gut. Besonders positiv fanden wir, dass man mit dem Aufenthalt freie Fahrt mit dem ÖPNV erhĂ€lt und so in ein paar Minuten mit der Tram in der Altstadt ist. Das alles per Mail und App vorab. Außerdem konnten wir unser e-Auto in der Garage laden (gg. GebĂŒhr natĂŒrlich) ohne Standzeitbegrenzung; also kein Umparken.

Wie die 4 Sterne zustande kommen erschliesst sich mir nicht. Ausser durch das sehr freundliche personal. Mein Bett war auf der einen Seite durchgelegen und auf der anderen Seite 20 cm von der Wand zur Nasszelle entfernt. Die Sauberkeit in der Nasszelle ist oberflÀchlich.

Free parking was great and tram stop just outside to get into Berm centre worked well using complimentary travel pass. Restaurant menu was limited and a bit pricey but food was excellent quality and beautifully presented. Soa facilities good but would have been helpful to be told we had to collect towels from reception in advance of heading down to use it. Staff very helpful.

Völlig ĂŒberteuert bei schlechtem Service

Mein ursprĂŒngliches Zimmer war belegt, was dem Personal nicht bekannt war. Ich musste deshalb nochmal zur Rezeption fĂŒr ein neues Zimmer - unnötiger Zeitverlust. Zum Abendessen warb das Hotel mit 2 Restaurants. Als ich um 20:00 Uhr vor den Restaurants stand, sagte mir das Personal, es gĂ€be keine KapazitĂ€t mehr, obwohl etliche Tische frei waren und auch wenig GĂ€ste. Musste deshalb ein auswĂ€rtiges Restaurant absteuern. Das Hotel warb mit kostenlosen ParkplĂ€tzen, das Parkhaus selbst war aber voll und ist auch ziemlich eng. Mein erstes BĂŒgeleisen war defekt, musste mur ein neues von der Rezeption besorgen. FrĂŒhstĂŒck im Hotel war verfĂŒgbar, allerdings ziemlich ungemĂŒtliche AtmosphĂ€re im Kantinenflair. Immerhin gab es kostenlose Regenschirme zum Ausleihen. Insgesamt fĂŒr 240 Euro pro Nacht/Person ein enttĂ€uschendes Erlebnis.

I loved everything about this hotel. The staff were very friendly and the hotel room itself was really lovely. They even have a free pool and sauna included with the stay, alongside with bathrobes and slippers if you needed any. We never got to try it out but thought that was a really nice gesture. Another positive perk was the free travel pass around Bern. We had a car - parking was very easy and free. They also have a restaurant within the restaurant. We paid for the breakfast buffet which was 19 CHF each, and the food selection was great. The room itself was pretty modern - especially the bathroom. I liked the design of the bathroom (had a hairdryer as well). There is also a mini bar inside the hotel room in case you wanted a little drink or snack during the stay, but you would of course have that added to your bill. However, there was complimentary tea and coffee in the room. We stayed in a 3 person room (1 double bed, 1 single foldable bed). The single bed was not the most comfortable bed to say the least. I am a deep sleeper but must say my back hurt quite a bit when I woke up because I could really feel the springs on that bed. However, the double bed was comfortable to sleep in to say the least. Overall, was a very good stay and the city is nearby through tram service. The tram stop is very nearby to the hotel so you won’t have an issue getting into town. We were however able to visit the entire town within 1 day and only stayed in this hotel for 1 night.
