This place might be the best bargain on the island as far as lodging is concerned. The room is clean and spacious, and the pool is nice. Lots of places to eat nearby. And several dive shops within walking distance. Is kind of noisy sometimes.

The staff was very accommodating and location is perfect. My stay at the Tropical Palace Hotel could not have been better. The room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The common areas were always picked up, smelling fresh and clean. Our linens and laundry as well. They made my brother and I feel like family and we feel like we have a home in Belize now. Thank you so much to the hard working staff that made our stay so memorable.

The staff was courteous, patient and understanding about my needs as I had a lot of questions for what I wanted to do and where to go during my stay. They were also careful not to put their guests at any risks because there was a day where the weather conditions were not favorable, and any excursions for snorkeling and scuba diving were cancelled, but rescheduled for better weather. Also, 2 members of their staff were critical to ensure my vacation was memorable. A staff member called Smokey and their new bartender both deserve a raise or some other reward as they were instrumental due to the services provided to myself and other guests.

This was our second stay at Tropical Palace and we really enjoyed it again. Free airport pickup, friendly staff and owners, and a very convenient location made our stay easy and comfortable. The hotel is just a few minutes south of the airport and close to many restaurants. The room was clean and included two towels, two washcloths, soap, and shampoo. We recommend bringing your own toiletries for added convenience. The beach is literally just one minute away.

The rooms and grounds were spotless. The staff was super helpful and accommodating. They even helped us extend our trip to New Year's. It's definitely a little Tropical paradise. Beds are comfy. The AC is cold. Wifi works well. Super close to the beach. Not too close to town. But not too far either. They also rent golf carts and have a nice restaurant on property. Cannot wait to return. Overall, cute place to stay. You can hear the foot traffic throughout the halls/floors. Voices carry. The window coverings to the balcony door stood out from window and sun came through. The bed was cozy, no TV channels (only apps). Less than 5 min walk to the San Pedro Belize express water taxi. Pool pic on Expedia didn’t look the same as in person.

I was welcomed with the friendliest front desk, both ladies I encountered were so sweet and welcoming. I was able to book last minute pick up from airport, which I appreciated. The pool was a nice focal point of the hotel. The room was much better than expected, it has a fridge which I was excited for. Overall great place and would book again!
