The Skylark Hotel has a few noticeable drawbacks, but also some redeeming qualities. The building itself feels outdated, with visible paint chipping that gives it a worn-down appearance. The rooms, particularly the bathrooms, are quite small—the showers are tight, and the toilet seat covers had visible staining, which was disappointing from a cleanliness standpoint.
That said, the location is a major highlight. It’s incredibly convenient for the music festival, making it easy to come and go without hassle, and there are plenty of shops and places to explore nearby. What truly stood out, though, was the staff—they went above and beyond to accommodate us and made the experience much more pleasant despite the hotel’s physical shortcomings.
