Very large room with good storage. Clean throughout. Yea and coffee available in the room. Large comfortable bed. Security fob to access room area. No noise from the bar customers heard when in the bedroom. We did eat in the bar and the food arrived piping hot with plenty of choices available. Attentive staff in the bar area.

Great place for Heaton Park

Great place to stay for Heaton Park gigs. Came for Oasis and the staff were very friendly even though they were busy. Food is decent. Rooms are lovely. Would stay here again

Great stay

Absolutely ideal for visiting Manchester, plenty of parking, good food and a comfortable bed. Easy walk to to Metro at Heaton Park.

Room was spacious & very clean. Was able to check in at 12.30, I presume it was the lady who runs the hotel who took us up to our room. She even went out of her way to drop us off at the station to catch the tram into the city centre. Will definitely use this hotel again when in Manchester.

Excellent hotel. Gentleman took our luggage up for us and explained all the ins and outs of the room. Lovely bar/restaurant. Although we didn’t eat here, the food looked lovely.

Great budget stay!

Great budget stay! Had the best sleep in a while in the bed as it was so comfy! Shower was brilliant too, a little dated but powerful and clean and that’s all that counts! Only issue was when checking in I told them I’d like to check in and the guy checking me in said nothing then he said you can go now and gave me no information at all until another lady escorted us to our room and explained everything. Checking out in the morning was a small issue aswell as no one on the desk and only one door available to leave from as all others locked and we couldn’t lock the door we left out of. Apart from this a really nice pub, food looked brilliant, clean but a little outdated but would definitely stay again! Would recommend!

Comfortable, but noisy

Very warm welcome on check in, staff very nice. Room spacious and clean with very comfortable bed. The problem i had was an extremely noisy boiler/ cellar chiller which was loud enough to keep me awake from 3am. I was unable to give feedback direct as I would like, sorry to make my issue a public one. Having had opportunity to discuss, and my positive experience from the staff Im sure they will try and resolve this situation for future guests.

Nice

Nice place to stay but a bit noisy due to it being more of a pub with rooms rather than a hotel. No staff for checkout having to give your key to the cleaner. Restaurant stopped serving food after 8pm. Due to a misunderstanding I thought I had been told it opens at 8pm. So couldn't sample the food. Plenty of parking and has a lot of features that I didn't use. But would visit again if working in the area.

Lovely property and rooms are good and well looked after but can't get food after 8pm some days (not good when working on site etc.) and struggled to get off the locked carpark early in the morning! Also, when we did actually eat in the restaurant we had raw chicken served to us which was reported to our server (and was obvious on the plate) and that was the last we heard about it! Such a shame as the menu is lovely and the rest of the food was good.
