The best place to stay in Siargao!! It was super local to everything and very nice! Jessie and all of the staff made us feel so welcomed and really took care of us. La Fuga is aesthetically pleasing but lacks functionality. The bathroom smells like sewer and we didn’t have a functioning toilet during our whole stay. The workers didn’t offer to move us or compensate for inconvenience. Instead, they made us use the public toilet on property. The cafe was also close during our stay. Workers were nice only in the beginning trying to get us to book tours etc. but just ignored us after. They were also not consistent with tour and scooter rental prices. They will try to nickel-and-dime you.
