We throughly enjoyed our little visit to the area and staying at the Carriage Inn made everything that much more memorable. The home, its interesting history, atmosphere and historic furnishings were like stepping back in time but with the modern everyday comforts. Then to top everything off it was very comfortable, warm, inviting and the hardy gourmet breakfasts were yummy and very filling. The owners/hosts were so knowledgeable, friendly and very accommodating. This in is located in a nice central location close to the historic town. If your fortunate to book a room here you will not be disappointed. 😉

Yvonne was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the history of the Inn and the local area. She is a wonderful cook, breakfast was amazing! Very accommodating. We could come and go as we pleased and it didnt feel like we were being intrusive to her and her husband or the other guests. Highly recommend! Beautiful Home

I enjoyed my stay at this beautiful home. The Sunrise room was gorgeous and very spacious. The bed was so comfortable and had beautiful linens. Perfect pillows. It’s very quiet and peaceful. I could not stay for breakfast, but I received a delicious baggy with a muffin, juice, a banana and a power bar. The Dutch flag on the muffin was so thoughtful because I am Dutch and so is the owner. I will definitely come back, it was a real treat.
