The ubication was very good; close to Main Plaza and Puerta del Sol. The room was OK, with a balcony and the bathroom only had toilett and liquid soap for hands. The bathroom had no shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, or hair dryer, and the shower soap dispenser was completely empty. It was impossible to take a shower.
There's no reception, and you need a code to enter the building, as well as the hostel itself. Last night, my mother and I arrived at midnight after dinner and couldn't get into the building because the code they gave me didn't work. After 15 minutes (it was freezing, and my 84-year-old mother was there), some guests arrived and opened the entrance door with a new code, which it wasn’t informed to me. Finally, when I tried to check in at the hostel's automated machine, I entered my last name, and it said I hadn't paid, even though I had paid the reservation in full. I had to contact them via WhatsApp, and they told me to check in again with my reservation number. Only then did it show that my reservation was fully paid in advance.
