I have stayed in many places around the world but the view from our room, and the terrace at this hotel, is quite simply the most amazing I’ve ever experienced. An excellent place to stay.

It’s an older property, but very well maintained and typical of a Swiss chalet in terms of rooms sizes and accommodations. The staff was very friendly as both the front desk and the restaurant. The breakfast buffet had an excellent selection. The restaurant also had many options for food, homemade, and amazing views on the patio!

I would definitely stay here again! SUPER minor thing but I would add a fan to the room (we closed the windows because it was raining quite hard and windy, so it got pretty warm at night)-- but that’s about it!

We booked this hotel with a few weeks to spare and were incredibly lucky to find it. The location is absolutely perfect in Mürren, perched right on the edge of the cliff with panoramic views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. The scenery is nothing short of breathtaking. The daily breakfast was phenomenal, with fresh breads, local cheeses, meats, eggs made to order, and great coffee, all enjoyed with an unforgettable view. You’re just steps away from trailheads for some of the best hiking in the Alps, including the North Face Trail and the route down to Gimmelwald and Trümmelbach Falls. The hotel is also a short walk from the Schilthornbahn cable car, making it very easy to explore Piz Gloria and the surrounding peaks. Mürren itself is car-free and peaceful, with charming shops and restaurants just around the corner. The staff was warm, helpful, and made traveling with a baby seamless. Truly a hidden gem. We would come back in a heartbeat.
