Room condition was not worth the price

The bed was comfortable, the view was as expected, the room was clean other than the white towels being yellowed, but the condition of the room looked as though they needed to fire whoever was remodeling. The bathtub was painted on the inside and peeling as well as the grab bars inside the shower. The door to the room had to be slammed in order to close and the balcony door could not be locked as it would not close all the way. The outlet at the vanity was not usable. When plugging something in it would just fall out so the coffee pot could not be used. For the price per night I expected better but at least the bed was comfortable.

Average stay for couple of nights in Oceans Store

It appears that this hotel is currently under new management. While the reception area is well-maintained and presents a positive first impression, the quality does not extend consistently to the rooms. Our room had a faulty door lock that frequently became stuck, which was inconvenient. The breakfast offerings were minimal and lacked variety. The standout feature of our stay was the swimming pool, which was well-kept and enjoyable. Overall, aside from the pool and reception area, the rest of the experience was fairly average.

The rooms were small, but clean. They had a wash station outside so that you didn't track sand into the hotel. Breakfast area was large, but amount of food was not suitable for the amount of people. Many hot bins were empty, fruit bowls empty, and only a few slices of bread. Breakfast hours were 7 to 930 and we went at 815. Overall not bad for a single night stay.

Landlord special. Wish.com for hotels. Don’t believe the pictures, everything is worn out and painted over. Go somewhere else. This should’ve been so much cheaper for the quality of the room. The checkin staff was borderline rude and it appeared that I was inconveniencing their call as they checked us in with their AirPods in. Breakfast time was kinda a joke. They did literally the bare minimum.

Not an excellent stay.

We were placed on the ground level- which was fine except those rooms are significantly smaller than the upper rooms. We checked for bed bugs and our first room had a bug crawling in the mattress. We were moved next door. The next room seemed clean but the mattresses and bedding were fairly old and worn with holes in the sheets. The coffee pot in our room had leftover water in it. There was a half eaten apple in the small part of the freezer of the mini fridge. There is no area to convene with groups to play games and no tables in the rooms. Our total for two rooms for 4 nights was $1300 which was $162.50/night per room after my gold discount from hotels.com which made me expect something fairly decent. If it wasn’t the non refundable rate, and we weren’t there for a funeral, I’d have moved hotels. They’re pet friendly and there was howling dogs in the room next to us. Dogs don’t bother me. Incessant howling does. And then a screaming and cussing, drunken fight broke out in our hallway between a father and a daughter. Nothing was addressed by staff even though we were well within hearing distance of the front desk. Hung our please service room sign and it was never done. We had to ask for trash bags and towels ourselves. Room never got serviced in 4 days. The only plus was the staff were nice.

Privacy Not Guaranteed

The front desk deactivated my room keys on the secand day of the stay, then around 10pm while falling asleep a couple used a hotel key to access my room. I then got dressed to go confront the issue as to why someone would have access to my room and the couple who mistakenly walked into my room profusely apologized while the front desk had no reason as to why they would deactivate my key and give access to another guest. It was extremely violating and we will no longer book stays at this hotel while in town on business.

4th of July weekend stay

Nice place. Bed was medium firmness would have preferred plush. Breakfast had great hours and lots of options but the options stayed the same daily. Pool and hot tub were wonderful. Room was a little muggy so had to keep the ac running. Very quiet. Front desk was very helpful. Water refill for water bottles was great! Free mini golf was quaint. Great area to walk dogs and not far from the beach. Wish there was ev charging.

Great stop in Ocean Shores!

Great stay, the owners were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable and we were able to extend our stay one night. The pool was nice to use in the evenings and the breakfast was a bonus. Close to the main beach access. Highly recommend and will stay again if in Ocean Shores.

Hair in the bath tub, something dripped on the bathroom door, the sofa was so broken down in the center it was hard to get up out of it, one one of the lamps didn’t work,and outlets were old and didn’t hold the plugs and there weren’t enough outlets for medical devices near the bed without unplugging some lighting. The staff was courteous, the lobby was clean. The food for breakfast was conservative and it reminded of a like home cooked meal. The room was nice , clean and I liked the cabel tv. Good Job
