Shower was horrible, Sprayed everywhere but at me. Bed had a sheet and a cover that was basically another sheet, so no blanket at all. No coffee. They only have cappuccino. I was told if I wanted coffee to go to the gas station. Wish I could leave something positive but everything else was basic and there wasn't anything nice to say.

There was no kitchen. Just a microwave. No closet, no iron or ironing board. I'm not sure of the agreement between Palace Inn and Hotels.com, but I wasn't refunded for the second room, after all. I believe the individual from guest services, who informed me that financially speaking, Hotels.com is solely responsible for credits/refunds and they don't do refunds. I'm disappointed in Hotels.com because I truly believed they'll stand by their customers/guests and their experiences on the app. I won't use this app again and I strongly advise customers to navigate all businesses elsewhere.

Front desk staff were awesome-I could only book a smoking room through Hotels.com, but they were able to get me into a non-smoking room (huge thanks!) and were so nice about it. We were there during the winter storm that shut down the airports for multiple days and our flights were getting delayed & canceled continually-they graciously extended our stay and honored discounts we received with the initial booking. Very impressed. Also, the rooms were spotless-very clean. There were 2 bottles of water on our table for our use. Kitchenette area didn't have anything to cook with, dishes, nor utencils (if this matters to you). Bathroom amenities include soap, shampoo/body wash in the showers, conditioner travel bottles, and prepasted toothbrushes with a floss stick wrapped up. Water was nice & hot. I only stopped by breakfast late on 1 morning, there was 2 cereal choices, prepackaged muffins, a milk gallon, & Sunny Delight. They have a coffee/cappuccino maker 24/7-lovely! Adequate parking. Very close to airport, but on the north side so you don't hear planes all night but it does cost more than expected to get an Uber/Lyft (with the airport fees it was roughly $20 each trip). Convenience store adjacent to hotel has ample food & snack choices.

Arrived early due to travel issues and desk attendent apologized that due to high demand the previous night that no rooms were available yet. He didn't try to gouge me for any extra fee for early checkin and instead told me to wait and a room would be available inside of an hour. Room was modern and unbelievable value. 5 stars!!

Staff was very and motel is nicely renovated. But my room was smelling like cigarettes. They changed my room and 2nd room also smelled like cigarettes. Non smoking rooms should really be non smoking room.

The tv didn't work in the room. I tried to plug up the cable box into different outlets and change the HDMI to no avail. The room didn't have any lotion which is odd. Also there was no comforter just layered sheets but it was a comfortable mattress. The room was clean. It had a light wet smell but i turned the heat up and the smell went away. The parking lot is well let and the front desk guy was nice. I slept great and there is a gas station next door with suprisingly good cofee and good breakfast. It is also about 30 minutes from IAH. I wish I knew that because the Uber was $45 to get to the hotel.
