Comfortable stay

A good hotel. It was basic but clean, with friendly helpful staff. My room faced the back of the hotel and was quiet. No air-con but a fan was provided. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a good choice of food available for 4 hours each morning. Food stocks were regularly checked to make sure nothing ran out.

If you're looking for a no frills place to stay as your focus is on your trip & what you do then this is a good place to stay. You could hear noise from corridors & street. There was also building works on the road during my visist & likely for a good while yet. It was in a good position, quick access to public transport & easy walking distance to lots of places.

Perfect practical Vienna hotel.

Great location for shops, food options and the historic centre. All walkable but close also for public transport options. Helpful, warm, friendly front desk staff. Also 24 hr so can happily leave key - one less thing to worry about when youโ€™re out and about. Only slight negative, no tea/coffee in room and even small convenience stores close early in Vienna - be warned! Local Golden Arches was open late for takeaway tea/coffee and cheeky cakes - 2 min walk away. If youโ€™re like me in a city break/tour and youโ€™ll be out all day and evening, just want a bed and a clean shower this place is perfect.
