I had a great stay at Somerset Lofts. I had some work at Rutgers University and chose this property. The location is very nice and also the room was very clean. Staff was also extremely nice and helpful. I highly recommend this property for your stay in the area.

Family trip, not the best choice.

To start off, the property appeared not so safe. There were many people just standing around outside smoking and being loud. There were people in the corridors leading to the rooms. We heard people yelling at 3am. Not sure if they were in their rooms or in the corridors but it wasnt pleasant. The room was ok but many things were broken or dirty. We had only 2 towels, and when we asked for more, we were told come back tomorrow morning as the cleaning staff is gone. The beds were clean and comfortable and the toiletries were there. I dont think we would go back.

Overall this property is filthy. Carpets & furniture stained. Carpets needed to be vaccummed. Fixtures worn out Paint peeling Headboard had writing on it. I even changed rooms and the second had AC that did not work. I left & will dispute this charge....
