Property is excellent even though it it's quite a distance from the main attractions...the staff are friendly and courteous..one suggestion would be to provide the shuttle service free for hotel guests...

Overall its a good place to stay with family or friends. However, they should improve their sewage system as there is a strong stench in the toilets. Air freshners were probided upon request. Good to also take note on details such as providing handsoap in the toilets and kitchen as well. As for the gym, there should be a sign to inform guests to take the key card from the pool towel area.

This hotel opened June 1 2024, not all amenities are open. Work is still being done. They have shuttle busses to Resort world for RM7 per person, in my opinion it should be free considering the hotel isn’t fully completed. Once all work is done I think this hotel would be beautiful place to stay. The view is amazing if you get the room facing the mountains

A very nice option for when you're visiting Genting Highlands. Less than 10 minutes drive from the mall and theme park area with lots of facilities within the property itself. The room was nice and clean with a gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains.
Breakfast selection was OK, however some things ran out quickly due to the long weekend crowd. Facilities were fine, we enjoyed the heated pool. There is a paid rooftop experience where you can take some beautiful photos - a bit pricey but fun. Restaurant options were OK but you'll need to drive out if you want alternatives.
The only thing is that some facilities weren't available - the kids playground pool didn't have water heating which made it too cold to be in and the infinity pool was closed for maintenance.

check-in on 25/12/25, as the experience was far below Wyndham’s expected standards. During check-in, the Indonesian female receptionist was unprofessional and lacked basic front office knowledge, unable to answer simple questions and repeatedly stating that check-in was at 3:00 pm, which I was already aware of; my request to pre-check in by submitting my details, a standard hotel practice, was met with reluctance and poor service attitude. Fortunately, Mr. Abdullah took over and handled the process professionally, being friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The hotel’s wayfinding system is confusing and misleading, with lift buttons and signage indicating access to floors and facilities such as Level 50, Sky Garden, and Sky Deck that are not reachable, causing unnecessary frustration. The room view was excellent and was the only positive highlight. The swimming pool water was visibly dirty with excessive bubbles that remained for hours, indicating poor water maintenance and potential hygiene risks, especially for children. Breakfast offered reasonable variety but service was slow, with empty plates not cleared despite informing staff. On a positive note, the night steam oat service was good, particularly the attentive and helpful young Myanmar gentleman. Overall, this stay was well below Wyndham’s usual standards and not worth the 6++ room rate.

The room was terrible. Smelly, not clean and even the bottle watter in the room was opened. I have been staying Wyndham around the world and this is the worst.

Very good high end and affordable stay especially if you aren’t able to get any GW hotels. Only thing is that there is a rooftop pool that is not accessible unless you pay a seperate fee upon arrival because it is operated by Hard Rock Cafe.
There is a hotel included pool on the lower floors though with a gym.

Toilet had this bad smell from day one. Was cleaned but seemed to be a plumbing fault. In room dining was not an option as QR code not available to order.

As it is soft opening, the main attractions are not ready. The bathrooms also hv a smell. It has to do with the air ventilator. This is something the management needs to look into it and find the cause. Otherwise, the review will always be negative.

Very bad experience
Although the staff was very nice
But lots management and facility issue
1. 7 lifts CANNOT accomodate with 40+ floors of the building. Take 1 hr to get the bellboy bring the luggage up/down. Have to use stairs to parking lot. Worse situation during breakfast time and check out time
2. Breakfast area too small. CANNOT fit with number of guest. No table to sit. Empty food not top up. Long que at egg station. Breakfast substand. Nothing great with rm60 per head breakfast. Terribly overprice. Mamak breakfast so much better
3. Reception area so small. And only 3-5 workers handling check in check out. Not proportionate with high number of guests

One of the nicest locations I have ever seen for a hotel, however, the staff service is below, much below expectation.
The check in lady was lovely but her manager/supervisor (in Mack suit) was rude to his staff and behaving in a way that he was more important than any mortal hotel guests!
I stay in different hotels and have gold status in a few, but this is the first time I was told the rooms are available but I will have to pay the full early check-in price if I want that and the supervisor was instructing the front desk to say this to me.
The restaurant closes after 10pm but from 9pm the staff were very reluctant to serve food as they were “closing soon”!
My wife waited for 25 minutes for a portion of chips which they gave to someone else and never apologised and it was so late that their kitchen was closed.

Not worthy of a 5-star classification
Rooms: Entered the family room and was immediately greeted by a whiff of stale air. Ceramic tiles were uncomfortably cold; would have expected the floors to be carpeted given Genting's chilly climate. The build of the room was shoddy & shows lack of attention to detail, eg, shower glass door don't close fully, so the dry toilet area gets soaked everytime someone takes a shower. Hot water runs out quite quickly, so the next person showering will have to wait for a while. Room wifi was mediocre at best.
Food and drinks: The breakfast buffet wasn't the greatest if I'm being completely honest. Selection was quite mediocre and taste-wise was average at best; quite a disappointment as Malaysia is famed for having awesome food. Saving grace was that the chefs at the live stations were all very friendly, especially at the egg station. Always smiley despite the heavy traffic flow
Noteworthy details: For a new 5-star property, this hotel falls well short of expectation. As an ex-hotelier & a frequent business traveller, I have to say that this was one of the worst 5-star hotels that I have stayed in. Booked a family room & the price was similar to Ritz-Carlton KL, one of my usual hotels when I'm in KL; unfortunately, the room, facilities & service cannot be further away than the famed Ritz-Carlton. Quite shocked that we need to pay extra to use the kids' play pool & shuttle bus to Genting SkyWorld where all the main attractions are.
