The courteous, hardworking owner and his family are successfully updating an old hotel in a very small town. Parking is plentiful for both the Hotel and its large Coffee shop where I enjoyed a light breakfast of scrambled eggs, and my wife fresh baked samosas! Our room was spotless with updated bathroom, coffee maker, fridge, etc. The bed comfortable and a view of the historic Lillooet main street and the surrounding mountains. Had we been with family, or staying much longer, we might have used their large and fully equipped communual kitchen, On our return journey, be booked one more night and had another good night's sleep.

They have a large community kitchen that we had access to that I really liked. That way if I wanted to pick up some groceries, I could prepare them in the kitchen and wash all my stuff in the kitchen. Room was clean. Property was very well maintained.

This hotel was clean and comfortable, while not fancy it had all the comforts I needed. The staff at check-in and throughout my 3 day stay were helpful and friendly. My roo Was upgraded when I checked in without requesting it and he helped me take my bags up to my room.

We stopped overnight in Lillooet on a road trip through British Columbia. Lillooet is a very small town without any of the known hotel chains. So needless to say, there are no 4 star accommodations. These are all mom and pop motels. That said, we were very happy that we chose Hotel DeOro. The check in was easy and our room was really good and clean. The AC worked perfectly, the bathroom was excellent, and the bedding was very comfortable. If you find yourself stopping in Lillooet, you will not regret staying in this little hotel.

So this is a motorcycle-friendly motel in a small BC town that was comfortable and quiet and clean. It is perfect for your stop while traveling and nearby there are lots of good food options. It gives you everything you need for a road trip stop.
