I really am struggling to think of any negatives about my stay so I guess that speaks volumes. The staff can’t do enough for you (without being too overbearing), rooms are of a good quality and the range + standard of food on offer is some of the best I’ve experienced.

A nice hotel with courteous and helpful staff. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable with a large bathroom and shower room but fell short of what I would expected of a 5 star - did the basics well but no extras e.g. no robes in the room. What let the hotel down for me was the limited products available in the hotel bars with many products unavailable over our 4 day stay - I would have expected better for a 5 star hotel.

Still the best option in EC

I've been staying in this hotel for the last 9 years whenever I had to come to Electronic City, the staff are simply amazing, food is fantastic and rooms are very clean and comfortable. The only downside is that the hotel has changed ownership over the years and unfortunately each time management decided just to use what was there before, hence the hotel really needs a makeover now as it is becoming very dated. Also if you like a quiet room, it'll be better not to be poolside, as the hotel has many functions which are based around the pool and it can be very noisy with music until late at night in the week. Nevertheless this hotel is still my number one choice when I'm in EC.

Older hotel, great service, expensive food/drink

Stayed at Oterra for one night for a business meeting. The airport pick-up was great- unfortunately it was a 2.5 hour drive to the hotel due to crazy Banagalore traffic, but the driver was very nice, car was comfortable with water and snacks offered, and had wifi. Oterra seems to be an older hotel- room was comfortable but not impressive and sort of dark overall. No French press was offered in the rooms (unlike the other 5-star hotels I stayed in India during this business trip), and minibar was extremely expensive as compared to 5-star hotels in Delhi and Pune. Breakfast buffet had a great variety and was in a beautiful space. Italian restaurant was great- the gnocchi was some of the best I’ve ever had! (Which surprised me). But food/drink prices are very high here. Service overall was great. They could make some updates to the rooms to modernize them, and should reconsider restaurant and in-room dining prices.

Hotel is great but the area is not touristic at al

The Hotel itself is great. Good and dedicated staff, great breakfast, good restaurants, comfortable rooms, gym, pool... if you go for business trip it's a perfect match. Only problem is about the area; Electronic City is not near to city and anything touristic. There is nothing to do in walking distance. You have to take a cab or drive to go see something. Considering the very bad traffic in Bangalore it does not worth to try :). Good thing that the hotel has everything so you do not get bored. Unfortunately nothing touristic could have been done during my stay...
