Perfect & always timely service (great personell who does make the difference - thanks for having us!), friendly service, totally relaxed atmosphere, quiet place to chill with a great spa and with a really nice & quite fancy restaurant (Leonard's). Great food but not cheap. Walking distance (3-4' or so) to the heart of Gstaad and to the train station. Not much more you can ask for ;-)

Le menu du jour, compris dans le prix de la chambre, ne proposait rien pour les végétariens. Surprenant pour un hôtel 5*! On nous a proposé la carte du bar !!! Ou le menu surprise ! La surprise était le supplément à payer pour un repas très moyen et pas digne de ce genre d hôtel ! Ce qui n est pas précisé lors de la réservation, c est que le prix du menu du soir est pour 3 plats ! On nous demande si l on désire 3 ou 4 plats sans vous parler du supplément à payer ! Nous étions dans le chalet à côté de l hôtel. La chambre est agréable, très bonne literie et le balcon est sympa.

From the hot chocolate as a welcome drink by the fire to the Afternoon tea on the day of our departure, our stay at this hotel was just perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is just gorgeous, with stunning flower arrangements throughout. My absolute favourite is the delightful wallpaper in The Lounge.

Grand Dame classic, now fully updated and sparkli

I read about the new spa at this hotel and decided to give it a shot. I was really blown away! Yes, the spa was fantastic and the treatment excellent but what really impressed me was the warm service. I am not used to this in Swiss hotels. It was so personal, so caring and so welcoming--without ever being annoying. Zero hassle, everyone solving problems and making the stay lovely. If you appreciate excellent service that is warm, you will like this place.
