The location for us was perfect. The place was decent. Definitely tun down but still seemed clean. The guy running it was a little rude when i tried to reserve a room for next weekend.

This motel provides only the minimal of amenities. At check-in you must ring the door bell several times. While there is a hot shower it is just barely hot enough that you probably wont shiver after the room is warmed up! They do not even have a king bed in any room even though that is what they advertise.You cannot walk around the room in bare feet because there is an old wooden floor that tends to have some grit on it...so I laid down all the towels from the bathroom to the bed. Otherwise I had to wear socks and shoes.The towel rack hangs beside the toilet so all towels must be removed from the rack to sit almost straight on thew toilet. The toilet is only maybe 4 inches from the wall so you still sit almost sideways on a wobbly seat. No light working in the bathroom and there is only one dim light in the middle of the main room. Free wi-fi with very low speed.The bed was comfortable and the room has a small refrigerator and a microwave. Only stay here if it's at a heavily discounted price and you need to rest your head very close by to Stony Point.

I did not have high expectations. I had a surprisingly good night's rest considering the age and condition of the mattress. Our room (209) had a lot of character from the wood paneling, small size, and background sounds of a neighboring television and amorous couple. Achievement unlocked for staying in a seedy American motel for a rendezvous with a lover. Pro-tip: brining your own candles and Bluetooth speaker greatly enhances the atmosphere. The candle light reflecting off the wood paneling is pretty sweet.

Stony Point NY Inn

We got a smoking room, after spraying it down with disinfectant and spraying perfume we were able to sleep somewhat. The mattress was a spring mattress and was not comfortable at all. The door seemed as it would break with a really good kick. The front desk and the surprisingly clean room and bathroom is the best part of the entire experience. Oh the price was ok also.

I needed a place in Stony Point, NY for a few nights before getting picked up for my new job about an hour away. I had no choice. Listen, I am not here to badmouth places. The air conditioner had no remote and you would have to be 7 feet tall to reach it. There was a microwave and a mini fridge, which were both clean. I was afraid of the bed, based on the overall appearance of everything else in the room. There was a 24 hour gas/convenience store across the street, plus many food options within walking distance. So, that was helpful. I was here in the peak fall season, so I didn't have many hotel options. I will leave it at that.

Stained, shabby & neglected

I'm not inclined to give unflattering reviews but my experience at this hotel was very disappointing. My check-in experience was OK but the room itself showed considerable neglect. The bed was clean & comfortable, there was a nice microwave & mini fridge, and the wifi worked. Other than that, there were stains and broken fixtures and furniture. The bathroom was remodeled but the towel racks were all broken and there were a few bugs on the floor. Towels were left on a piece of cardboard on the shelf above the coat rack. The walls were thin enough that you could listen to conversation in the next room. Noisy guests woke me up at 330am. I gave up, showered (the shower head didn't work right) and left. I would not ever patronize this place again.

The room was horrible, toilet didn't flush, blankets were filthy, curtains were stained, super heavy odor of bleach and the place was still dirty. Spider webs in the corners. I lasted ten minutes, after walking the room I just left, my car was 100,000 times cleaner!

Parking was not an issue. The Wi-Fi kept going in and out, and the signal strength was very weak during the peak hours of the day. The shower was not properly cleaned. There were strands of hair stuck to the wall, the shower shelves were slightly covered in black dirt, and a pink fingernail. For the price of staying here, it was not bad, but the lack of care could use some touching up and there. Overall, the stay was not too bad; you have shops nearby, and the location is pretty quiet.
