We booked to stay over the Bank Holiday weekend. The hotel is lovely and modern, with plenty of parking. The room we had was clean and tidy, with AC which was brilliant considering it was the hottest weekend of the month so far! The bedroom was comfy and we slept really well. The bathroom was clean although there were a couple of things which need to be looked at: the light above the shower had no cover and the shower hose had black marks on it. There are Molton Brown products available to use if you forget your own toiletries.
Breakfast was served in the Yew Tree Restaurant. There was a good selection of cereals, pastries, bread for toast, fruit, etc. The hot breakfast choice was also good, with the option of selecting what items you wanted for the full English.
We had dinner at the Restaurant, it was quiet for a Saturday with only a few tables. We enjoyed our meal; just one minor point when we were served our mains, my husband's plate was cleared but mine was left even though I had finished.
All the staff were professional and friendly.
The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the Cotswolds villages, with Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow and Moreton-in-the-Marsh nearby
