Quaint hotel with quiet neighborhood

Super friendly and helpful staff. Excellent Hightide cafe in lobby with breakfast and lunch options. I would definitely stay here again. There are a few steps to navigate to checkin and get to rooms. Within walking distance to lots of food, shopping and city buses.

Cute Hotel!

Such a cute hotel! Check-in was so easy with info texted to me and simply using a code for the door lock. We only stayed one night, but the room was very cute and in great shape. We spent time the morning we left in the hotel coffee shop, where the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. A really great stay in Anchorage! Close walk to downtown restaurants.

Adorable little hotel. Clean, modern, and cozy. The woman at the desk downstairs was super nice and the coffee shop on-site was super convenient. And a great price too! Absolutely recommend. If I ever need to go back, I'm definitely staying here again.

Ours was a one-night stay before moving to another hotel to begin a tour. The emailed instructions were clear, the room was very basic but clean. The woman in the coffee shop was friendly and efficient. Only annoyance was the ceiling fan which went erratically back and forth between fast and slow.

We were traveling when we book room. We got our confirmation but never received the codes to enter building or room. Used provided phone number for issue that was posted inside building. No staff Avail able at 5 :30 pm. Red Awning service sent phone numbers but no one answered x 3. 40 minutes later called another number and we finally got assistance to get codes. Bed comfortable. Easy to get to airport for early flight

My bad not researching enough. This is not a hotel. The room was so small I had to go outside to change my mind. Incredibly small room I felt trapped couldn’t move around room with out stubbing my toes on the bed frame that took up 99% of the room. Sketchy internet. Wasn’t for me at all for $350 per night. very uncomfortable uneasy feeling being in such small quarters.

Clean room. Easy to get in and out. not the hotels fault but had loud domestic disturbance in room across hall, police were quick to respond. 3rd floor room (two rooms rented) had a leaky ceiling.

Nice Clean Hotel Near Downtown

Nice clean hotel, comfortable bed friendly staff. A little coffee shop in the lower level and a nice bakery breakfast-lunch place a block away. Easy 4 block walk to downtown. We arrived early and they were able to store our luggage until the room was clean about 12:30 for early check-in. No elevator, but they helped get luggage upstairs

We enjoyed our stay at the Highliner. We got the code for entry a couple of days in advance and it worked seemlessly. It was nice and quiet. We walked to dinner and there were several restaurants between the Highliner and our preferred dining spot. It was pretty clean and quite pleasant.

Cute hotel, great room

Perfect for me as a solo traveller. Clean, small room with a tiny bathroom in downtown Anchorage but still in a quiet area without much traffic. Only downside is that the whole room is shaking everytime someone closes their door.

Overall the bed is really comfortable. Small room and it smelt a bit like smoke but overall I was happy with it considering the location. Great bakery right near by. Was the best price I could find in the peak of the season. Still super happy - but they collected garbage at 7am and woke me up.

This is a great option for a spacious room in a good neighborhood in Anchorage. We have stayed here repeatedly as our travels have cycled through Anchorage. Hotel is self service for checking in and out. Have had almost no contact with staff.
