Great hotel in Wengen

Very clean, quiet, the staff were super friendly and helpful. Our balcony has a gorgeous Mountain View. The hotel is located in a beautiful small town - Wengen which is a good location for exploring the Alpine area. The breakfast was very good too. Strongly recommended for visiting this area.

A Beautiful Time

We had a beautiful time at Hotel Edelweiss in Wengen. Linda and Tomas were so welcoming and helpful. And the rest of the staff were lovely as well. Our room provided an incredible view and peaceful sleep. The breakfasts were delicious and hearty, fueling us for the day. We were sad to leave but hope to return one day.

Fantastic hotel in Wengen

Fantastic hotel in a great location. Located 5 minutes from the train station and great views of the valley. All the staff were all super friendly and a special mention for Thomas who helped me plan out my hikes each day and was so helpful. The hikes that Thomas recommended were amazing. Breakfast and dinner options all really nice. Next time I visit this area of Switzerland I’ll make sure to book this hotel again.

The staff was warm and friendly. They also provided excellent suggestions of good hikes and ways to spend our days in the area. The rooms were small but adequate. They also had a great barbecue and dinner at a very reasonable extra charge. The property was very pretty and well maintained.

We absolutely loved Edelweiss!!! The staff was so kind and accommodating. The view from our room was so beautiful and peaceful. There is a great little park for the kiddos which is so convenient if you have younger ones. This place also has a nice deck to relax and enjoy the quietness of this village. The room is bit dated. The pillows are not comfortable at all and should be replaced. The balcony is facing the front yard but it has no spectacular views. The walk to the train station is steep but it takes about 5 minutes. The check in staff is very friendly and helpful though. His name is Thomas.

The staff were all extremely nice and accommodating from the moment we arrived until we left three days later. They gave us some recommendations to see around the area. We had a wonderful stay in Hotel Edelweiss. The hosts were very welcoming and the staff were all friendly. The hotel and it's surroundings are beautiful and our room had everything we needed and was clean. We didn't have a balcony but there were plenty of seating areas outside. Breakfast was amazing with good choice. The hotel was easy to find and only 5 mins from the station; although it's an uphill walk to the station, I think that would be unavoidable wherever you were staying in Wengen! Thank you for a lovely holiday, we would highly recommend Hotel Edelweiss.
