A very nice hotel, a bit outside of the city centre of Heraklion, however taxis are available and not too expensive. The staff is very charming and professional. There is a small pool on the roof and a nice little bar. The rooms are big. The parking at the neighbouring shopping centre is ideal and without charge. It is a good parking. The only thing: There is bar next to the hotel, which plays music until late night. Depending on the temper of the DJ, that can be extremely loud. The first night was bad, the second night was better. The hotel is offering eardrops.

This is a new hotel and although it has a five star rating it is not quite yet a five star experience. Rooms are very comfortable and well equipped, but it is a bit soulless, it feels like a 4-star, it’s corporate rather than boutique. Definitely pay for a sea view room otherwise your view will be an ugly shopping centre. The location outside the Venetian city walls in an underdeveloped quarter of the city means a 25 minute walk into the old town in 30C heat, or multiple taxis. The rooftop pool is nice for a dip, with a lovely sea view, but the lounging area is very small. Breakfast is buffet style, no eggs to order, no a la carte. Staff are excellent and friendly, the gym is decent (although the music is loud and there’s no option to control it). There’s an unfortunate ‘signature scent’ in all public areas. Cheap, synthetic, powdery. If you want to explore the coast west of Heraklion this is a good location. But if you want to enjoy the museums, restaurants and bars in the city, this perhaps isn’t the best spot.

Great stop over hotel on the way to Rethymno

We were only at the hotel for one night, and arrived at 7pm due to a delayed ferry, but we had a lovely if brief stay! The staff were welcoming on arrival and provided a welcome drink and showed us to our room. The rooftop pool is open until 8pm so we managed a quick dip and headed out to get some dinner. We walked to the old market area (Kalokerinou- about fifteen minutes away) and found a lovely restaurant. The buffet breakfast in the morning was to a high standard as well. Definitely recommend this hotel and would go back. Only thing of note is that it is on the main road and you can hear traffic if the window is open.

Very noisy stay

We stayed in two rooms with sea view. The major problem is that the rooms were extremely noisy. The hotel is located right on a crossing/ red light for a four lane street where motorcycles like to start their acceleration at night. There is also an open air discotheque 100 meters away that is open until 3 at night. Yes, it is in the city and you should expect some noise, but this held us awake or if we fell asleep it woke us up. There were ear plugs, but they were not enough. The soundproofing is not there; double glazing, but sliding doors that let the noise in. The rooms are nice with some start-up problems. The service at breakfast and by the pool at the top was very good.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The property was very new, nice and clean. The staff were all so helpful and friendly:) The reason I gave it a 4 star instead of 5 is just because I didn’t like the fact that smoking was allowed in common areas and I just thought it was unfair to people like me who can’t inhale cigarettes smoke…I told the rooftop staff about it and he basically didn’t do anything about it and said it was allowed…..because of that reason I could even enjoy the hotel pool and view with fresh air so I had to go back to my room unhappy. Also, more protein options for breakfast need to be available for people who can’t eat pork…I had to stick to just eggs because the bacon and sausages were all pork:( But otherwise everything else was great! Would definitely stay again!

This is a very nice, new and modern hotel. The breakfast every morning is very good and contains a lot of options and variety of food. We arrived early in the morning on our check-in day, and the staff was incredibly friendly and got our room together as soon as possible for check-in a bit before the standard time. Nice view from the sea-facing side of the hotel and only about a 20 minute walk to Heraklion center with a lot of restaurants, shopping, souvenirs, etc. Overall, this was a great stay.
