Easy check in at the bar and then we’re shown to our room. Room was clean and nicely furnished with a well designed, modern en-suite. A really good base for our weekend celebrating a wedding in Southbourne.

In Emworths town centre, close to cafes shops etc, car park available. Really nice hotel, our room was under the roof, very steep steps to get there. Superb staff, always ready to help despite how busy they were. Can't thank them enough , waiting staff to register us and offer to move their own car as car park was full (finally not necessary as patrons left, rush hour in the restaurant) , the owner(? ) who carried both our hand luggage up the steep steps, the cleaning lady the following morning who took the time and gave us directions for breakfast to nearby coffee rooms.It was great, highly recommend.we had lunch, served quikly despite 2 large table before us, very fresh and copious, restaurand at lunchtime saturday was full, started to ease about 4pm and refilled again

I arrived early ahead of friends but our room was all ready and i was given a very friendly welcome. I think it was Caitlin who carried my case up to our room which was a huge suite and spotlessly clean. Plenty of complimentary teas,coffees and biscuits available in the room. A little later Cam helped my friends up to the room. Both Caitlin and Cam are a great asset to the hotel. Our lunch was excellent and we've thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Staff all excellent, there was an issue in the car park which needed sorting out which Evie did very efficiently and with good humour. I ate in the restaurant very good food , Evie and her colleagues attentive and pleasant throughout. Room was clean tidy and warm, I slept well. Thank you very much
