Very friendly staff, relaxing environment and lovely food 😬

My wife and I have stayed here on several occasions in recent years and have been treated well and at a fair price. Our room including bathroom was, as ever, a reasonable size and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very good and served with good humour by the owner. The hotel is well-positioned for travel in the area and I would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone.

6/10 不错

Good: Staff very friendly. Breakfast and dining rooms light and pleasant and meals good. Had the most tender chicken there I have ever had. Bad: The room was very dusty. Furniture and bathroom shabby.

Only stayed for one night and was happy with everything. Comfortable room (with a fan to keep the temp cool), friendly helpful staff and a lovely cooked breakfast. Everywhere was clean and there is a car park at the rear of the property.

A lovely 2 night stay in a cosy Inn & within easy reach of the beautiful surrounding Market towns of Oakham & Stamford. Bernard was a very pleasant & helpful owner & we would definitely recommend staying there.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room very nice. Lovely evening meal and breakfast. Would have been nice to see all 3 real ale handpumps in use, but the one on, TT Landlord was in good condition. Would certainly stay again.

a well kept hotel and friendly staff a few little niggly things wrong but not worth mentioning, very busy road outside would not want to have the window open at night, so fortunately it was cooler outside

Beautiful Old Inn ambience. Really enjoyed our stay and dinner in the Pub.
真实点评

6/10 不错

The room was comfortable but the bathroom looked very tired and there was a rip in the bedroom net curtain. You have to order cooked breakfast the day before which is fine but the quality was only mediocre and not much choice if you decide against a cooked breakfast. Plenty of parking and took about 10 mins to drive to Oakham.

Nice hotel in quiet location with lovely outside area. One member of hotel staff unhelpful when we advised that the WiFi was unavailable. Good evening meal, breakfast offered a reasonable choice but cooked option wasn’t great. Good hotel for the money though.

Reception was warm and welcoming . Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Extremely good value and the continental breakfast was varied and plentiful. We would certainly recommend it
