Absolutely amazing. This property was so cool. The room was great, but the location inside the cotton mill was unbelievable. Being able to cut through to all the restaurants was really neat.

All instructions are in emails (keyless entry, parking location, room #, etc.) Such a lovely property with so much history and re-done perfectly! So much better than staying at a brand / chain hotel. Restaurant and bar are in the same location. Never interacted with any staff (only reason I have a 3 star rating). Would most definitely stay here and recommend this place again!

The common area was very convenient for eating. Maybe use a smaller shower head as the water pressure wasn’t great. Otherwise for happy stay.

The train every two hours was a bit much. But the blackout curtains helped a lot. The
Convenience was incredible. Shout out to Q at Waggles, an establishment in the building.

Really cool play to stay but no place to put your clothes really. No drawers. There were places to hang clothes but we only got 4 hangers for a room that sleeps 4 people. Location is good. Very clean. Very pretty.

The room was clean and my bed was comfortable but hard to sleep in because the noise and light pollution were unmanageable without earplugs and a sleep mask. The train runs all night and it right in front of the building, there are blackout curtains but they cannot reach corner to corner and the light coming in is too much. I had the miss fortune of having neighbors who went through their cabinets like they thought open and shutting them repeatedly was going to produce something that wasn’t there before and it was so loud I thought they were in my room. I came in at night and there was no visible signage or instructions on the check in information that my room was all the way in the back of the building in a gravel lot. Although lit, the gravel parking lot didn’t feel secure.
The remodel is beautiful and I would come back prepared with ear plugs and eye mask but I would not come back with company. There is very little chance of privacy for anyone as the walls are high and open, anyone trying to use the bathroom can be heard from any corner of the space; upstairs or downstairs due to the wall not connecting to the ce. The bedroom has a sliding door but has an open wall that looks down to the living room. The other bed nook meant for a child are 3 walled as well and on the other side of the bathroom and will be disturbed by anyone getting up to go to the bathroom.

Lovely Boutique Hotel
This is an old mill turned into a boutique hotel connected to an area with several small businesses - restaurants, bars, and boutiques. If you think of it as an Airbnb and not a hotel you will love it.
Pros: Unique rooms. Very clean! Small living area downstairs and loft style bedroom upstairs. The bed was very comfortable! Location is great. Right down the street from downtown. Private and relatively quiet.
Cons: We didn’t get our email with the check in codes until 20 minutes AFTER check in time. Thankfully we didn’t need it by check in time. There was no sugar for the coffee, plenty of other substitutes. But no front desk to go to get what is missing. Not a big deal just something to note - bring extra of what you need with you like you would an Airbnb. The body wash and hand soap provided is a watery consistency. I recommend bringing your own. Shampoos was fine.
Parking: in the back on a gravel lot. Don’t park under the trees! They rain sapp all over your car.
Common area/small businesses: Everyone is very friendly! The restaurants close at 6p on weekends and 8p on weekdays. So we never got to eat at any of them(we eat later than 6p). The bar on the corner inside is nice. Drinks were very good!
Train: there is a train that runs behind the parking lot. Other than the occasional train horn it’s surprisingly is quiet. And it runs frequently.
We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again when we are in Dalton!
