Elegance abound

Located just outside St Moritz in a nice town. We had dinner just down the street, a fabulous breakfast in the hotel and left for the Bernina train back to Italy. Would love to explore Switzerland more in the future. The hotel is classy and elegant with great views and just a quick bus to downtown St Moritz

Grand old hotel

We only had about 14 hours there and wish we could have stayed longer. This is a grand old hotel that has been well maintained. The breakfast buffet was very elaborate and had made to order omelets with many pastries.

Just returned from a weeks stay with my son & we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The view from our window was spectacular, shuttle bus to the gondola in celerina was perfect & they will also bring you back if you call them when you’re ready, we used the local bus though as they’re super efficient & included in the price of your ski pass locally. Ask about the stay & ski pass, so much cheaper!

Friendly & professional staff, especially the young lady( sorry don't remember name) in the Spa and the gentleman in charge for the breakfast. Only stayed the one night but is very close to bus stops and the hotel is clean and lovely. The wellness centre was a great way to spend time in the evening after being out all day. Only issue we ran into was after missing a bus the hotel called a cab for us but after looking at the bus schedule we wanted to cancel the cab but she did not understand the request so we ended up having to take the cab which cost 40 chf (so almost $70 with exchange) for less than a 10 minute ride down the road. Lessons learned avoid taxis at all costs!!!!

BE WARNED ABOUT THIS HOTEL!!! I stayed there for 5 days and did not have internet services in my room during the stay even though they were included in the price. I was told that maintenance would fix it, but it never happened. My trip was work-related, and not having internet in the room complicated things as I had to stay in the lobby late in the evenings. In addition, for 3 days, there was a nasty sewage smell in the room that made it necessary to sleep with my windows open and leave them open when I was away. Again, I complained and asked for a change of rooms, but my complaints were not addressed. The smell went away the day before I left. Finally, they offered me a coupon for a 25' massage if I booked a 50' one. I booked the massage, and when I went for the second (supposedly free) at first, they told me they did not have enough time to do it (clearly, they wanted to close the spa earlier), and when I complained, they agreed on giving me the service. However, instead of a 25' massage, they gave me one for 50' (I realized it later as I fell asleep during it ). When I did the checkout, I turned in the coupon, and they did not accept it. They told me that the woman at the spa had charged a 50' massage and that they couldn't do anything about it. I was angry, but there was no responsible person to talk to, and I also had to leave to catch my train. A total disappointment for a hotel of this category!!!

An excellent stay!

It's been nearly six months since my wife and I stayed at the Schloss Hotel & Spa Pontresina and I still find myself thinking about this wonderful hotel and spa! The staff was so welcoming and friendly. Truly professional. I loved the old world charm of the hotel and dining areas. All of our meals were excellent and the service was outstanding! The concierge and front desk staff were so accomadating, friendly and professional. The concierge gave us excellent information on the hotel's amenities and the town of Pontresina. The maitre d' and dining room staff were also outstaanding! And of course. the snow coverd winter view from the hotel was incredibly beautiful!

This property is in a quaint town surrounded by mountains. it's a 15 minute walk up a slight hill from the train station (if you don't have a car although i believe there is easy parking too). The room we stayed in was in the lower ground floor although still had beautiful views of the river and mountains. Rooms didn't have aircon but leaving the window open did not create any noise. The spa was fantastic and a welcome addition after a day of hiking. It was very spacious and plenty of room for people to relax in between steam room of ice buckets. The breakfast was plentiful and had sufficient vegan options too. Highly recommended
