Pulling up to this hotel on the street you would never guess how lovely a property it is. The rooms are huge, the view from the lanai/porch in the room towards the back of the property is beautiful, and the staff, particularly the front desk staff, are extremely warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. We had a wonderful two night stay and would highly it recommend it to other travelers.

We spent 2 nights in this boutique hotel. It was an interesting experience. The hotel reception was in an art gallery full of paintings. The staff who checked us in was super friendly and helpful. He gave us a tour of the hotel as he helped us carry our luggage to our room, and he answered all our questions patiently. The room was spacious with a small balcony facing the jungle. We could hear birds and monkeys in the morning. Breakfast was delicious and filling. The staff serving us was very courteous. It was certainly an enjoyable stay for us.

And the reviews were correct that you can just sit and look out the back and see lots of birds, monkeys, etc. Not all the time, of course, but if you sit and look, they will show up.
