The check in/out was quick, which I appreciated. The room was very basic. The location was convenient, only a 10 minute commute tho the downtown area. Not the most luxurious place, but for the price it was good.

The room smelled so bad of smoke after 10 minutes I packed up and went to a different hotel. I understand I didn't book a high end hotel, all I needed was a bed.

Staff didn't speak english well. It took 2 different people and someone of the phone with them to check us in. When we got into our room, we found that there wasn't a door to the bathroom (wasn't designed for a door at all). It reminded me of a detention center room. The towels weren't clean and about the size of a dish towel. It took my entire body weight to get the front door to close fully. We found bugs crawling in the blinds after getting in. We didn't even unpack. We found another hotel and I went to turn the key back in and told them we would not stay in a place this disgusting. The lady at the desk just told me "no refund" and took the key and closed the little passthrough. 1 star is giving them too much credit.

Upgrade denied

Subway was just infront and a jimmy John’s just a few blocks away. Room had dead roaches and crickets, used tooth whiteners in the sink, a joining door wouldn’t lock or latch and no hot water. Asked to switch rooms and was told not to worry about it.

I should’ve known it was going to be a tough night when I saw a car on blocks in the back lot! It was probably drug use all around, but at least they were quiet. For extra security I actually put a desk in my room in front of the door just to make sure. Oh, and I made sure not to take my socks off… Even in bed! But at least the bed didn’t squeak too much. I won’t be visiting Indianapolis again.

You get what you pay for. I walked into my room after checking in and it smelled like weed. I had to buy an air freshener and spray the room about 6 times to get the smell of weed out of the room. The bottom of the main door to get in is exposed to bugs getting inside the room. Had a giant Ant crawl up on my lamp. The floors are dirty and not cleaned. The towels I got were also dirty and even the shower towel. They were unusable as they had black stains all over them. So I brought my own reading reviews ahead of time. There’s no door for privacy to use the toilet if you are staying with someone. They can see you if they look at the mirror hanging on the wall. The shower floor isn’t maintained. Felt like stepping in filth just to get a clean fresh up super quickly. The bed also has stains and black stains over the sheets. I’d probably never comeback to this ever again but the workers clearly do not value cleanliness for their guests spending money. The walls are thin enough to hear other people talking in other rooms. If you can spare extra money for a better stay experience then do that. Avoid this unless a last resort if you’re in a financial situation or on a budget.
