Anniversary Bliss!

Went to the Charles for our Wedding Anniversary, and were pampered every minute of our stay. Ian, the Innkeeper, was warm, friendly and most attentive. We will definitely be going back!

Perfect in Pacific Grove

Fabulous stay with two little kids in the newly renovated. We are on the top floor, and one of the bedrooms was in the turret, which was an exciting surprise!

The Charles was a delightful find! It was beautiful, with lots of books and nice jazz playing. The proprietors were very friendly and helpful. The charcuterie board and the breakfasts were artfully designed, very healthy, and delicious. The bed was extremely comfortable and relaxing. We are looking forward to a return visit

Wow! From the moment of walking into the door and saying hello to two mornings later in checking out -- fantastic!! They really take care in making you feel treasured here. The in is clean, comfortable, and the innkeepers truly go the extra mile. The evening wine and snacks, the breakfast, the friendliness was a true reminder that staying in a hotel doesn't need to be plug and play. My room was comfy and so was the bed! I appreciated the closeness to the downtown street and just a couple blocks away from restaurants. If you're interested in Lover's Point, an easy walk to the water as well. Thanks for an incredible stay!! I'll be back.

Worst experience ever. Underground room!! As you can see the foreground photo of the hotel, it seems 3 story house. However, our room was located in the underground. You can see the walls or legs of pedestrians!

Super hotel op alle gebied

Het was een geweldig hotel. De ene plezante verrassing na de andere. Heel aangename ontvangst, een verrassend hapje en wijntje. Zalig ontbijt in echte tassen en borden ( geen wegwerp!) Heel leuke kamer ( eigenlijk de hele accommodatie). Kortom super!
