Ce petit hôtel est très agréable et très propre, situé dans un quartier charmant et bien relié au centre par de nombreux bus. Le petit déjeuner est gargantuesque tout est servi dans des petits pots en verre très écologique. Le couple qui tient la maison est très gentil.

Room clean but very airless and hot. Breakfast excellent. No choice of breakfast times however i.e. When I asked what time breakfast was served I was told 8.30am. I asked for later and was offered 8.45am. Shower water pressure very poor but water hot and plenty of towels and toiletries

The room was ok but up too many stairs and so very small (as was the TV). No fan in the room either and this was a muggy night. Again, a small though tastefully enough done, bathroom. Only room for 2 cars to park so had to leave my car a bit away from the property on the street.

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt das Frühstück war super und die Gastgeber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit die Unterkunft war super mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen und mit einem kurzem Spaziergang war man gleich am Meer. Das Zimmer war im 60iger Jahre Stil aber o.k. Wir wollten ein günstige Unterkunft und mit dem gesparten Geld für die Unterkunft viel erleben und dies könnten wir. Würde ich diese Unterkunft für meinen nächsten Aufenthalt in Edinburgh wieder wählen ? Ich denke das würde ich. Man muss sich in Schottland aus einen anderen Standart einstellen auch für wesentlich mehr Geld muss die Ausstattung nicht besser sein.

Hosts were very caring and lovely to chat to. Guest house is very dated, compared to other houses on the same street, old carpets and wallpaper etc. No work seems to have been done for a long time. Comfortable but drainage problems upstairs, bathroom smelled a lot and water came up through the bath when toilet was flushed with a smelly odur. Cheap and cheerful, nothing luxury but lovely hosts.

We were on the top floor but the only disadvantage was the drainage system. There was a drainage filter in the bathroom which was loud. It was ok for us in the room, but made you feel very conscious about the guests below as any water drained started the filter up.

Very polite & helpful staff. Clean, cozy & comfortable rooms. A short walk to the city center & located very close to buses for those that prefer mass transit. The bathroom was a bit cramped, but the price couldn't be beat. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Short stay in Scotland

Check in was easy, the host was very kind and informative. The room was a tad old fashioned but it had a charm about it. I was comfortable and left to myself. I didn't feel like anyone was going to bother me which is what I wanted. The only issue was one of the housemates singing in the shower 😂 besides that it was a fine stay.

A PLEASANT, OVERNIGHT STAY AT FALCON CREST

The couple who ran the guest house were most welcoming and the husband even offered to meet us by car as we had got off at the wrong bus stop and had telephoned to ask directions. The booked room was good and the twin beds very comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast in the morning and left on foot heading in the right direction for the bus. There would have been ample parking on the quiet road had we driven. Good value for money and easy access.
