Beautiful hotel set in a lovely area. Overall staff were very friendly however there were quite a few times across the stay that we had to wait a while to be seen to. There was a wedding on the day we arrived, which obviously we expected with it being a wedding hotel but they had the drinks reception at 2.30PM which is the time of check in, and the drinks reception was in the main reception which was a bit of a nightmare for getting luggage in, and was very awkward. We took our baby to the soft play which was a nice option to have but most of the toys for babies were broken or out of battery which was a shame and is an easy fix. Pool was fantastic, family changing facilities was the best I've seen and staff there were excellent. We had Dinner in the restaurant which was okay. Took a while to be seated and lack of staff in the restaurant meant to took a while when asking for something. My wife asked for steak frites and only got a steak which was quite strange. Breakfast was included which was nice, however there was quite a few items that were already finished and we were down quite early. Overall, it felt like other hotel guests might be seen as an afterthought when there's a wedding on. Which is a real shame as the hotel is excellent and we were really looking forward to it.

Hotel was lovely as was the lodge we stayed in, grounds were very clean and the staff were very pleasant. Inside the lodge was clean but there was a LOT of spider webs. I understand the lodges are in the country side but those webs had been there a long time they were caked in dust. There was 3 spiders in the bathroom and a couple in the sitting room which we didn't appreciate but that was the only downside great stay other than that.
