There was no front desk staff, everything was keypad access and signs or emails. The bed was fantastic and the bathroom was great except for very cold floor tiles, which we didn't really know how to adjust and stayed just one night. They said they put coffee, tea, and light snacks in our room but it was just Keurig (the tea too, and no herbal tea option) and Belvita. The TV was very small and the remote didn't work the best, plus the lightbulbs were very bright. I would stay here again for a lower price or if I knew they adjusted the little things that seemed like inattention to the guest experience. I expected a little more for the price. It was walkable into downtown so that was great.

Really nice properly in town setting. A bit far to walk to first street where everything is going on but not too far. Breakfast was great. 1-Star deduction for the upstairs rooms, it's a old house with stair case the turns at 90 degree with dangerous narrow steps. This is not shown in photos. If your good shape go for it. The cottages on ground level would be recommended or the one room accessable from the back side with safer steps.

This property was very nice and clean. We only stayed for 1 night but it was very convenient, great location, and in a quiet neighborhood. Rooms were very clean and the bed was incredibly soft. This property was so quaint! Fowler Cottage was delightful-and had so many amenities. Breakfast was delicious. I travel almost 350 days out of the year and try to stay at places that are out of the ordinary and with a little more character than a typical hotel. This property was perfect and I can't wait to stay there again when I visit Napa.

Hotel and room were clean and nicely appointed. They had a key less entry system, so we were able to enter the inn and our room with a code that we got beforehand. TV was a little small, but we really didn't have time to use it. The bed had soft sheets and was very comfortable. The bathroom had nice plush towels and was spotless. The reason for the 3 was that we were expecting breakfast and even got a message stating, "complimentary gluten free breakfast" as one of the amenities, but I was informed in the morning that breakfast is not offered Nov-Feb. Also, received a message about taking out the trash, which was a little confusing. I inquired about it early in the morning, but didn't not receive a response about the trash, 30 minutes before checkout. Overall, we had a pleasant stay in the inn. We didn't spend too much time there, but while there, it was very comfortable. It was nice and quiet, I think we might have been the only ones staying there that night. The lack of breakfast was a disappointing, which is one of the highly featured perks of the inn.

No one was actually on the property. We arrived about 30 minutes before check in time and couldn’t get in to the room because everything was contactless. Prior to that the sent me at least 5 messages in succession asking for data they already had access to through Expedia (ie which room I was staying in, email address, what days I’d be staying). They then tried to send an email offering “early check in” for $15/hour. Insane. If the room is ready guests should be able to access it. I wouldn’t have booked this place had I known they were so aggressively anti contact and anti customer service. Disclosures about how they actually operate (it’s a guest house and no one is on the property and if you arrive even 30 minutes early, too bad, no room access for you…) would have been appropriate

Such an amazing place!

I feel bad that I can’t give them more than a 10/10. This place is phenomenal. The bed was so comfy, and the service was fantastic. But that breakfast- I wish I could hire that chef! We stayed 6 nights, and breakfast was different (and delicious) every morning. If they have availability, this place is a must stay.
