Would and will come back. Hotel is in a great location and has a great almost tropical vibe in the sunshine. Hotel and grounds were very clean and looked after. We used the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast and we would come back just to eat, never mind stay. Great variety of good, interesting options and styles and the staff were top notch. Great weekend getaway!

Perfect!

We booked this at the last minute becasue we couldnt stay in the vrbo we had booked. This hotel was psrfect. Located on the water the beach decor was gorgeous and comfortable. Every person working at the hotel helped us in every way. They even kept the fish we caught in their freezer until we departed. The restaurant was delicious and the coffee shop too. Great servixe, comfortsble clesn and quiet rooms. Will definitely recommend to friends visiting the area of Sooke which is where id recommend staying near Victoria if you dont want to stay in the city.

2 night stay in Sooke

We enjoyed our stay at the Prestige Oceanfront Resort! The location is beautiful, right on the harbourfront. Our kids (and us too!) loved seeing the seals swim and play in the water right in front of the hotel. We used the complimentary kayaks and got even closer to the seals! That was the highlight of our trip for sure. The room was very spacious, however the room furniture was a bit odd - the table/desk was so large that it had to be wedged into a corner, but the night table was tiny, had tons of space between it and the 2 queen beds, and did not have secondary night tables on the outer sides. We had breakfast in the West Coast Grill restaurant, it was excellent as well.

Nice place, crummy restaurant

Great place to stay. Quiet clean and friendly. Food was lousy in the restaurant, but if you order in the Vault bar the menu is better!

Fabulous

Fabulous hotel next to the water. Really clean and comfortable rooms. Pool and hot tub were perfect temperatures. Restaurant on site was good. Free kayak was very much appreciated and we got to kayak with seals!

Charming spot

Fantastic restaurant. We enjoyed both the Happy hour and a more formal dinner. Good and easy parking. Charming location. Lots of cozy spots to sit outside and enjoy, but can’t bring your own food and drinks.

Not as booked

We booked ocean view months ago. Arrived and were not in an ocean view room and they said they had no other rooms available. TV remote was missing from the room (they brought us one that kind of worked) and a previous guests drink bottle was left behind the tv. Nice pool and hot tub. Good views from the front of the hotel. Picture is the view from our room. Will not stay again.

Bring a sleep mask

Staying for our first night away from our baby as a treat post attending a wedding. Our room faced out to the parking lot (not the best view) however, the lights that are over the entry way into the lobby are bright fluorescent and shine right into the room (even with the roller shade down). Felt like it was bright daylight until the sun came up...then it was just daylight. Didn't get a restful sleep we hoped for.

Terrible Experience – Not Worth the Price

I called the hotel prior to arriving to let them know we’d been traveling all day and would be arriving around 9:30 PM. I specifically asked if they had a crib or playpen available for my toddler so we could just check in and go straight to bed. When we arrived at 9:30, we were greeted by a staff member who didn’t seem to understand my request and acted as though it was the first time she’d heard about it. Instead of confirming, she just said she’d “see if they had one” and handed me the check-in forms. I asked for dinner recommendations and was told all the restaurants were closed, then advised to “go to Subway.” At that point, I decided to skip dinner and just get some rest. When I went out to the car to get my wife and toddler, we ended up wandering around for about 15 minutes trying to find our room because no one told us where it was. There were two separate parts to the building, which we didn’t realize, and despite us clearly looking lost with luggage and a toddler, not one staff member offered help. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, and the Wi-Fi required logging in through a special site that didn’t even work on certain browsers. We arrived at 9:30 PM and left at 7:30 AM, and for $450, I was shocked at the poor service. Save your money — I’d recommend a Motel 8 over this place any day

Beautiful property

Beautiful property, excellent staff and food options. Wish we had been able to stay longer to be able to take advantage of more of the amenities. Loved being able to watch the seals from our balcony and get up close to watch from the dock in front of the hotel too.
