The place had closed down!!!!

Hotels.com took my booking a week before my stay, a day or so later I received an email from The Masons Arms (presumably automated) asking if I was still coming and confirming my stay, I replied yes! On arrival there was a notice on the doors saying ‘temporarily closed’ turns out it had been suddenly closed over two weeks ago! No notification from anyone so I had to panic book alternative accommodation, fortunately I found a place nearby.

Lovely place to stay. The room was very comfortable. Lovely modern bathroom with bathrobes and beautiful fluffy towels. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly hosts. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beware. Have gone BUST.

Got there and the place had gone bust. Highly embarrassing. Fortunately. Lady came running out her house and she recommend a place round corner which managed to squeeze me in. Had to complain to customer services as they still advertising the place even though they don’t exist any more.

We had a lovely short stay at the Mason Arms. The staff were helpful and friendly and the food in the pub and breakfast were fantastic. Room was clean and spacious, and we were delighted to find robes and slippers offered.

Relaxing stay at the Masons Arms.

We had a lovely stay at the Masons Arms. Breakfast was excellent. I can thoroughly recommend the porridge to set you up for the day. Our room was clean and comfortable. Bed was good and lovely large fluffy towels. Dressing gowns and slippers provided. Staff were all friendly and really helpful.

It has always been a good place to stay with excellent meals. The landlord and staff always make one feel very welcome and now with the extra covid regulations are doing a very good job and are very thorough with the extra cleaning etc.
