The front desk is very helpful. As well, the rooms are very clean and attended to daily. The breakfast was excellent and abundant. The location is second to none. Right across the street and down the street restaurants with local Cuisine. I highly recommend the hotel.

Perfect for site seeing , this is walking distance to many of the main tourist attractions. The from desk always has two people greeting you there . They can use the hotel shuttle to take you to the big mall or big mosque and palace . But you must set up a schedule, I told one desk staffer that I wanted to go to the main mosque tomorrow. I told him but did not schedule, someone else scheduled the van for another trip . Plenty of casual places to eat and shop near by . The hotel has a very nice restaurant on the ground floor rooms are spacious and spotless .

My solo trip to Brunei

I was happy with my stay here - clean bathroom, spacious bedroom, friendly staff. The hotel is within walking distance to the Royal Regalia Museum, the Saifuddien mosque & the Yayasan shopping mall. The hotel arranged for a private tour for me for a reasonable price which included the city tour & tour of Kampong Ayer & the mangove forest. There is also a complimentary shuttle to the Gadong Night Market. I would stay here again.

Old Charm in New Form

The Brunei is unpretentious. yet provides excellent service not inferior to 5* hotels. Visiting the Sultanate during Ramadan was interesting and challenging and the Brunei managed to accommodate foreign tourists with great service and sensitivity. We are totally satisfied with our stay at The Brunei.
