Very helpful as we needed to book-in slightly early and were coming from a long distance for a wedding. Room was small (as described) but very comfortable. Delicious breakfast. Good value for money

Great pub & restaurant. All staff are extremely friendly and efficient. Food is excellent & well priced. Rooms are clean & have plenty of tea/coffee, not like some hotels who only leave 2 tea bags with no variety! Great breakfast menu too! I would highly recommend to friends!!!

Only stayed over the night and first thing was how nice the area was, the reception staff were great, felt comfortable on arrival. Booked a table for meal that night and again really easy and comfortable and staff still amazing . Food was nice too, Room was comfortable for our short stay, had breakfast in morning with plenty of choice again nice food and great staff. Woukd stay there sgain

There was no heating on in our room when we arrived, and considering it was -2° outside, we expected more the heater in the bathroom didnt work and it was so cold in there that I couldn't have a shower before going out.. I was told it probably hadn't come on yet and she would sort it but the room didnt get very warm at all night.. Apart from that i cannot fault the Jug and bottle the food both for our evening meal and breakfast was excellent great quality and enough choice . The staff are very friendly and accomodating and we would certainly come back

Everything was perfect. I use hotels.com a lot cause of work and stay in many many places. For me this was perfect and without doubt one of the very best places I have ever stayed. Will put this in my list to come again, loved everything about it..

Nice place. Friendly staff. Libby in the restaurant was very good with people. And Tom helping out with local advice. Good food and drink. Stayed twice now. Will be happy to stay there again.

Great hotel, lovely staff and very tasty breakfast (you must try the scrambled eggs). The only thing that lets it down is the lack of sound proofing in the rooms. Bring your earplugs or you’ll be awake at the same time as your neighbours.
