Both room and hotel were very clean. My room was a little be noisy due to next to working space and dining area. Except that everything is very good to me.

The hotel was under renovations and there was no notice online about it or I would have stayed elsewhere. I paid around $275 per night for a room with a jetted tub only to not be able to open the window because there were literally workers standing right outside looking back at me!!! The noise was loud and the smell of paint was overwhelming! When I complained to the girl on staff I was told I would have to speak to a manager. The manager came in at 11pm! The manager offered $50...that's it!! I was then told I could speak to the GM at 9am the next day...I came there to explore the town not wait around to speak to staff all day! The room itself was ok but definitely NOT worth what I paid especially with the hotel in the condition it was in. The only saving grace was a decent free breakfast each morning. I would not stay here again

The place was full of construction dust, it seems the place is being renovated from few months and the place is a mess..... nothing like in the photos, dont get fooled. Even hotels.com did not mention or explain this point and they are still marketing this hotel as part of their suggestions

When we arrived late at night, there was various signage about the hotel undergoing extensive renovations. At check in we were told the TVs on our floor were not set up yet and therefore unusable. Annoying but not the end of the world. The hallways were packed with boxes and tools from the renovation. And the room we were assigned looked like it had just been completed that day. There were no trash cans, the phone was not connected, and the air conditioning was not even set up. The front desk attendant came by to try to troubleshoot the air conditioner but was unable to get it going. The high temperature was nearly 90 that day, and there was no air conditioning. And it’s not like we could have opened a window, so there was, in essence, zero ventilation. The proposed solution? To leave the door open and have a fan blowing from the hallway. I have 2 young girls. Absolutely unacceptable. We asked for another room, but were told they were completely booked. So we left. What else were we going to do? And because it was spring break and every other hotel in town was full, we had to drive an hour back the way we came to Fort Stockton. The front desk attendant told us we had to go through hotels.com to get a refund, so we did so, but when they contacted the hotel, they stated the manager hung up every time a refund was brought up. So now we’re out for a hotel stay for a hotel we didn’t even use, and which was not ready for guests AT ALL. Gross misrepresentation of services.

Hotel is under full construction and not just in the lobby but also the floors. Construction dust everywhere including in your room. No lobby, no front desk, no power at hotel entry, smoke doctors covered up, no breakfast area other than a small meeting room crammed full of people, construction stuff everywhere, etc.

The room was fine and the morning breakfast was excellent. The facility itself was in a state of massive renovation for which we were not notified in advance. The lobby was inaccessible and access to the laundry room or the breakfast room required entry/exit via multiple side door’s and around construction laborers. BTW, full price was charged regardless.

Das Hotel wäre absolut in Ordnung gewesen, wenn sie bei der Buchung erwähnt hätten, dass es derzeit eine Baustelle ist und der Preis dementsprechend tiefer angesetzt wäre. Während der Bauphase müssen einige Umwege in Kauf genommen werden. Ausserdem kommt es vor, dass man durch Bauschutt laufen muss, um zum Lift zu kommen. Es gibt drei Möglichkeiten in die Zimmer zu kommen über die eine Treppe oder in der Mitte über den Lift oder ganz vorne über eine weitere Treppe die Verbindung zu diesen drei Aufgängen ist durch die Baustelle gesperrt so dass man sich vorab entscheiden muss, wohin man will in die Lobby oder zum Frühstück oder zum Auto. Um fair zu bleiben, die Zimmer waren sauber und gut ausgestattet. Das Frühstücksbuffet war für amerikanische Verhältnisse in Ordnung. Das Personal in der Lobby war sehr freundlich. Hallenbad und Fitness waren zugänglich, leider fehlen für das Hallenbad zur hygienischen Benutzung die duschen.. Auf mich wirkte das Hallenbad, als würde es für die Bauarbeiter zur Körperreinigung dienen.

The room was in good condition, but the bathroom shower was liking. The hotel is under construction. I had problems with accessing the exercise room the key did not work when I approached the front desk in the am on Wednesday the front clerk seemed to be upset because I was asking for help. Over all the stay was ok. the breakfast was great. but clerks a bit rude.

I wouldn’t say this was Holiday inn fault, more like Expedia not disclosing that this place was being renovated so lobby was none existent. Rooms were ok, place is old hence the renovation, breakfast was no good this time. It would be nice if they just informed people ahead of what to expect. Don’t like showing up to place that looks empty and not in use.

The room had a lizard. I was then given a king suite for 4 people which we didn’t accept. After pushing the front desk person to remove the lizard, she came and remove the lizard. We ended up staying in the same two queen room. But in the morning we got a surprise of double charges for a one night stay. Hotel is under MASSIVE CONSTRUCTION and EXPEDIA fails to mention this .. it shows beautiful lobby and rooms .. WRONG .. absolutely NO LOBBY AT ALL and I HAD TO GO BUY CLOROX WIPES TO CLEAN THE ROOM .. and to top it off they put us in 224 DIRECTLY ABOVE MOTEL LAUNDRY ROOM then DID LAUNDRY HALF THE NIGHT .. feel the machine’s VIBRATION AND HEADBOARD WAS VIBRATING .. BUT EXPEDIA and HOLIDAY INN - Alpine Tx DO NOT CARE .. I would LOVE TO POST PICTURES OF THE MOTEL CONSTRUCTION..
