From the moment we arrived at Royal Maxim Palace Kapinski until we left 6 days later we were treated like family. The concierge arranged our lost baggage to be delivered to the hotel and helped us plan a Nile dinner cruise. The restaurants, particularly Lucca, have 5 star menus. The spa experience was one of the better ones I have had and prices were reasonable. The staff on the whole goes out of their way to make sure every aspect of your stay is top rate. No complaints.

Although new Cairo is a residential spot without many atractions, this hotel allows a 5 star experience isolated from the noise and inconvenience of central Cairo. The rooms are clean and spatious. The breakfast is also fine. I would only complain about club lounge which is almost closed and empty.

The pictures on the booking page were very promising. Everything is looking old and shabby. Everywhere noice from outside. I’m very disappointed even more for the price I was paying. Room on ground floor- sounded like a bowling alley immediately above us Lucca restaurant charged service plus 3 fees, amounting to 30% extra fees on top of food. Had to ask for water 3 times. Poor and slow service. Dietary listings on menu not correct . Didnt like that 3 year old was crying Shower leaked water all over bathroom floor
