Første anviste værelse lugtede af kloak. Der tog 1,5 time at få anvist et andet værelse, selvom der var meget få gæster og mange ledige værelser. Værelser var ikke særlig rent. Snavs fra tidligere gæster i fx skuffer på badeværelset, flere pærer i loftet var gået ud, døren til værelset var slidt og krævede et særligt tag i håndtaget, for at låse op og i. Morgenmaden? Der stod en halvkold kande stempel kaffe og udvalget af mad meget beskedent og ikke ret spændende. Loungen, uden ild i pejsen, som der ellers stod i beskrivelsen er gennemgangssted og ikke et sted man sætter sig. Der står desuden et stor glasskab med krydderurter der står badet i kunstigt vækst lys. Ikke særlig hyggeligt..

Hotel Icefjord is a truly special spot in Ilulissat, with spectacular views of icebergs in the fjord. The rooms are super comfy/homey and the bar/restaurant is fantastic. There go out of their way to ensure you have a great stay & the breakfast is great with homemade breads & excellent selection

The staff are polite when you check in, but rude when you are leaving. We were at the front desk at 10:05 (checkout is 10:00) and were berated for being late, and told they would now no longer honer the free transfer to the airport. Also, the breakfast bar is weak. Hotel Arctic is much more affordable, has better views, and a much better breakfast bar. It's a bit farther away, but there are hourly shuttles to/from town.
