If you are looking for a quiet stay in the Wisconsin north woods this is the place for you. Our room was clean and spacious. Nice indoor pool area and great views from the room. Very relaxing! Wonderful historic hotel. Lots of amenties for fee, and amazing staff. If you enjoy golfing, atv riding, biking, hiking, and fishing and boating this is the place for you. It is a bit of grid, not great phone service . Only had internet in hallway or the lobby.

Grounds are beautiful and clean but could use some updates. Amenities advertised are not all available. Only 1 restaurant on grounds and it was either too understaffed too open or out of things. It is a beautiful remotely located in northern wisconsin and the unprepared slot across the river. The staff was extremely helpful.The only drawback was communication.Your cell phone did not work because the lack of a tower near the resort. And if they had a pet friendly end that would've been exceptional I could have brought my leader lab. Is awesome memories were made!
