Had a very comfortable stay here. The customer service was excellent and the staff were extremely accommodating. They arranged my all my transportation, allowed for early check in and late check out and even upgraded my room! They went above and beyond when I got a case of Bali belly and provided me with remedies to aid in my recovery. Very appreciate of their kindness and service. Highly recommend.

Happy We Chose The Colony

We had a quick 3-night stay at The Colony before heading home. A surprisingly nice find. The room was immaculate, comfy beds, nice linens, plenty of free drinking water. Tasty cooked to order breakfast was included. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Convenient location to beach, restaurants, and LOTS of shopping. Some reviewers complained about noise from nearby bars, but we did not experience any of that. The pool area was quiet and relaxing with nice loungers. One small complaint...the pool could have been cleaner. A lot of hair and small debris floating around which was kind of a turn off to getting in the water.

I just checked into this Hotel. To start off I am probably in the most expensive room in the hotel at $300 per night for an off waterfront hotel room. Firstly, the so called happy hour has cheap white wine and poor quality appetizers. Secondly, when I came back to my room, I couldn't get in because the lock on the door would not open and it took them a half hour to get it open while I sweated outside. Thirdly, the A/C in the room can't keep up with the heat despite having it set at 18C and last but not least, this allegedly 4 star hotel is right beside a night club which pumps mind numbing techno music till midnight so loud you can't hear yourself think. If I hadn't pre-paid, I would check out tomorrow. Don't stay here. For the price it is a complete misrepresentation of the quality of the hotel. Yes, the rooms are nice and the hotel well maintained but the loud music till mifnight makes it completely unacceptable.
