Very chic hotel and attentive check in staff. The restaurant / bars are poor service. I went to the Hidden bar to order food. After 50mins of waiting for my drink and food I left. From the moment we arrived, my wife and I were received by well trained and polite staff. The chech-in experience was seemless. We got a room upgrade. It is not my first stay at the Rosewood. I have stayed in both a standard room as well as junior suite. No complaints at all in either case. And the connection to the Galleria Mall allows for great fine dining choices and superb shopping. We had only one functional key for all of our stay, which was an enormous hassle. Every time one of us came in without the other person, we would have to go to the front desk and ask to be let in. Also, it was very noisy from 6am onward because they are doing construction nearby. This was disruptive to sleep. Finally, there was a bug in the room on my pillow, which was very concerning. Not what I would expect at a 5-star hotel.
