We traveled as a Family with a 4 Year old Child. The room Upgrade to a Room with an additional Side room was very nice. The Hotel was Perfect for our Short stay but due to the good Location we were able to see a lot of things. It is good renovated but some small thing need to be fixed or updated.

This is a great place for families and we enjoyed staying in family room for 5 that is walking distance from everywhere in centre of wonderful Ljubljana. The hotel is excellent value for families. Breakfast for 5 Euros was also good value. Friendly staff and place to store luggage.

Modern, comfortable and right in the city centre!

You can’t beat the location- right in the middle of the old town, a short walk to all the major attractions! Within a short walk to the bus and train station too! Clean, fairly modern, well appointed rooms. The building looks old, but the rooms themselves are more modern. My only complaint was that my bathroom was tiny. Very shallow sink, tiny shower cubicle and toilet, squeezed into a small space. Manageable as a solo traveller, but there’s no shelf for toiletries in the shower (no room) and you have to squeeze past the sink (which covers half the shower entrance), which could be tricky for some. Water was plentiful and hot, and the hotel was fairly quiet. All in all, an excellent hotel in the heart of the city!

Great central location

The hotel is in an superb location, right where you would want to be - and at the price is good value. Service was excellent from reception too. The room was in decent condition, and clean, though damp in one corner with a slight smell from this. The safe didn’t work, with an alarm beeping if you put the battery back into it, so left the battery out (as we found it). No TV signal or channels on the TV, so took the batteries from the TV remote to use for the AC remote, which had no batteries in it - once we did this the AC worked fine. Overall, happy with the stay (one night) as the location was so good and reception was so helpful to us.

Hotelli on hyvällä paikalla ja lähellä keskustan paöveluita. Vedenpaine suihkussa ei ollut hyvä ja kylpyhuoneessa ei myöskään ollut mitään mihin laittaa pyyhe kuivumaan. Huoneen ilma oli kostea ja se myös haisi homeiselle. Huone oli maantasolla ja seinien raoista tuli muurahaisia sisään. Kerroimme tästä respaan ja he sanoivat etttä niin on käynyt ennenkin ja tarjoituivat vain myrkyttämään ne.

Fantastic location

Fantastic location right off the main square. Plenty of bars/restaurants/shops on your doorstep. Very comfortable rooms, clean & modern The bathroom shower main hose/wall attachment was halfway down the wall so you couldn't stand under it, bit strange. Awkwatd when washing your hair. No kettle or voffee maker in room but communal kettle downstairs. Very basic continental breakfast which could be improved with adding some pastries. Service.was a let down for me. Struggled with my suitcase up the spiral staircase with no offer of help (2 people at reception) Questions were answered but felt the guest was not a main priority.

Excellent location. Stayed twice as a family of 4 and had very different rooms each time. Both fine, but second room on the ground floor was MUCH larger which was great with teenage kids. Good value compared to other accommodation we found in Slovenia.

L'hôtel est composé de plusieurs bâtiments disposés autour d'une cour. Nous avions la chance d'être dans un bâtiment plus récent, à l'étage 1/1, avec une vue magnifique sur le château. Merci ! A améliorer : aucun ménage pendant le séjour. Nous aurions apprécié un changement des serviettes un jour sur deux. Ni réfrigérateur ni bouilloire...

Great location and quiet in the evenings for sleep. The negative would be bed quality and bedding that was not comfortable and somewhat scratchy. While the hotel provides breakfast, the dinning area is warm and the selection was minimal and not very appealing.

Does exactly what it says on the advert really. Basic and not expensive, in the perfect location. I’d stay again due to the proximity to everything you want in the city. But rooms are very basic, small, and bathrooms aren’t great. Staff not particularly helpful or welcoming. But I suppose what can you expect for 3 star.

Hôtel à fuir !!!

Hôtel bien situé mais… chambre sale avec toile d’araignée au-dessus du lit, ventilation tenant par des scotch, cabine de douche sale, sans pommeau en hauteur et pas de table dans la salle de bain pour poser ses affaires. Le pire : une climatisation qui a inondé la chambre et qui a goûté jusqu’à environ 2h du matin… nous avons dormi avec une bassine en plein milieu de la chambre et l’hôtel nous a dit que c’était de notre faute parce qu’on avait sûrement laissé la fenêtre ouverte ce qui est faux puisque la chambre etait au rez-de-chaussée ! Aucune ristourne ne nous a été proposée ! C’est une honte !!

Good location

Just a one night stay after a longer stay in Slovenia. Can recommend Hotel Emonec due to it amazing location. Just be aware that taxies will drop you off on the corner on the square due to traffic limitations. We had a family room for four, and it was spacious with excellent beds.
