The bed is very comfortable. We had a nice sea view. The rooms whilst not big are well equipped. The staff were friendly. The only downside is the nearby nightclub which did impact our sleep on a Saturday night, Sunday was ok. If you have ear plugs it should not deter you from staying at the hotel.

Hotel is just along from the buses which is great. Not far from all the shops and market. The two receptionist are lovely and helpful. Only thing is the noise of the many seagulls on the roofs.

We used Granville as our hub to explore the Normandy area in France. We rented a car and stayed at Hotel des Bains for five nights. The room was clean and comfortable. We had our adult son along so we book the "Superior Family Room side sea view" which was excellent. Our son had his own area with a privacy curtain. Our balcony looked over the sea. We had a great stay.

Disappointing stay

The stay was awful. I called in advance requesting a lower level floor and we were put on the fourth level. Room was not clean, smelled very musty. The worst part was the noise from other guests from 1 until 4 in the morning. Yelling, banging and knocking on doors. This was the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had and I’m so disappointed as Granville was an exciting stop on our trip. I never write reviews but needed to write this one.

Le personnel est vraiment au top, la propreté des chambres est très bonne mais la chambre a besoin d'être remise à neuf : moquette tachée et usée, peinture du plafond à revoir, salle de bain à rafraîchir entièrement.

Chambre avec literie confortable. J'étais au 3ème étage avec la fenetre donnant sur une courette intérieure semble t il ce qui rendait la chambre très sombre donc obligée d'allumer la lumière tout le temps. J'ai apprécié la proposition de petit déjeuner express pour 3.70 euros (boisson chaude + viennoiseries/pain), ce qui me suffit.
