I typically stay at another hotel in BAQ but there was a big football game so most of the rooms in the city were already booked. Staff and check in was great! Observed the following issues: Rooms very old. Ants in the room. Only a thin sheet on the bed and when I turned it back there was a big hair as if they had not changed the sheets. Room was in poor condition. Grout missing and tiles cracked in the bathroom and bathroom door would not close properly. No hot water in the shower. Breakfast was so so. I probably was expecting a lot more as the price was more than I typically pay at my usual hotel but I think they raised the price because of the football. Fortunately, I only stayed one night and checked into my normal hotel the next day. My normal 3 star hotel felt like a 5 star!

Hard to beat the price for what you get.

It was good to have a covered parking garage to leave my car, it was a little tough getting in & out of it as it needs the desk clerk to activate the door. The room was clean, the toilet seat looked like it had been glued back together a few times, so that was odd. The bathroom window didn’t close all the way to seal, but that’s something I’ve experienced routinely in South & Central America. AC worked well. Shower had good water pressure. I slept well enough & the WiFi was plenty strong to watch a few videos on YouTube before shutting it down for the night. I don’t know if it was other guests or staff, but there was whistling in hallways & loud talking as early as 6am, so that wasn’t an ideal way to wakeup. All that being said, it’s hard to beat the price.

Very simple hotel. The cleaning was not great. A spider in the room when we checked in. Would not provide a towel for washing our hands. Ants in the bathroom, and the roof seemed like it was going to fall down any minute. The fridge smelled funny. Extremely noisy and bad noise isolation, could here every word some one where saying outside. The staff was alright, didn’t speak English and did not greet you when you came in. Be aware that you have to leave the key in the reception in order for it to be cleaned. Never experienced that before. In the «Hotels» ad it says every room should have a safe, it was not any there.
