Lovely midrange accommodation in Port Douglas. Kids loved the pool and bbq by the pool was great option, pool open until 10pm. Enjoyed a very relaxing and comfortable week at Outrigger. Perfectly placed with an easy walk to town, beach and harbour it is still in a very quiet area. Amanda and Peter were great in helping us know where to go and booking tours through them was easy and handled professionally. They advised us when we’re good and bad times for certain tours and the best providers to use. Our apartment was great. Spacious, very clean and great amenities. Everything you need. Bed and pillows extremely comfortable. They also run a community fridge where people leave all sorts of commodities like sauces and oils that are unfinished and save you buying. Great book library to.. We will definitely be back.

Amanda and Peter were great! Loved how they take care of you! The apartment had a lovely home feel to it. So it was lovely to come back and feel at ease at the end of the day there. Loved the communal sharing of things left by prior visitors. The recommendations from Amanda with tours to take was spot on! Thoroughly enjoyed them all. What a great trip and made my bucket list complete with the Great Barrier Reef! Thank you! Best of luck with it going forward, not that you’ll need it!

Very responsive owners, I was able to communicate easily by email. They booked my calypso and supersonic snorkeling trips as well as my Hartley Croc Adventure tickets and transport. Apartment is very clean with good water pressure and strong air conditioning. Close to many shops and restaurants. Finally comes with washer and dryer which was very useful. Thank you!

Good central place to stay

My wife Teresa and I stayed at the Outrigger Holiday Apartments for 9 nights. Peter and Amanda who have recently taken over management of the apartments were perfect hosts and provided any assistance we required without hesitation. Their friendly outgoing personalities make guests feel like family. The self-contained apartment was clean and roomy for the two of us and provided all the cooking facilities we needed so we could either eat in or walk to one of the numerous nearby restaurants. The apartments are conveniently located, are value for money and we had a thoroughly enjoyable time staying here.
