The room was extremely small. We kept falling over our own suitcases. The decor was not appealing. The coat rack in the bathroom that served as a towel rack fell over when no one touched it, and it was not overloaded. The lightbulbs in the fixtures did not match: warm white in some; bright white in others. The bushes are overgrown over the walks so it was necessary to go off the walk to get to the parking lot. One of the light fixtures in the parking lot had been hit by a car at some point and was still not repaired. The sidewalks in general were not high-heel friendly.

Really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly. Only stayed one night and we would stay again. Pillows were our only issue but that is always a matter of preference.

Great rooms with nice beds and updated bathrooms. Love the shower! No desk in the room for work. Desk, bar and restaurant staff all friendly and accommodating. Food and drinks were spot on. Walls a little thin but overall a great stay and walking distance to a welcoming town!

Stay was great. Nice and relaxing. Didmt get to stay at that hotel due to renovation stayed the harbor house. My only complaint is I think when they're doing their breakfast.They should have an attendant watching.There was people touching the food and then not taking it to their plate and tons of coughing going on

We enjoyed sitting on the porches/patio. Cushions on all seats would enhance the experience. Some repairs and paint would also help. Our room and bathroom were beautiful and very clean.

A beautiful, quaint hotel in a lovely area. The food was fantastic! Our evening meal was delicious and served in a relaxed but beautiful dining room. All the staff were extremely helpful but Alicia and Amy made our stay extra special with their conversation and friendliness. Our room was very clean with all amenities but next time we would book a bigger room. We would definitely recommend The Charles Hotel. 5 mins walk into town, free parking and amazing staff!!!
