Lovely Farm
The farm was lovely and the people working there very helpful. The best part of our stay was the breakfast- it truly was amazing!!! We also enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine very much!
However, I think I would only recommend during warm weather when you can take advantage of the outside area of your Casita. The only other thing to be aware of is it is apparently near a training base, during our stay we constantly heard the noise from jet planes which may be normal for some but was a little alarming for us tourists not used to the sounds.
Overall, we still enjoyed our stay!

Exceptional!
We loved everything about Carmey Avdat. The location is beautiful and our secluded cabin provided the privacy and serenity we wanted. Absolutely loved the provided wine, dates and fruits. We bought some cheese and crackers from the shop and it was all delicious.
The cabin is equipped with everything you need in a small space. The bath-shower was wonderful. Outside, we adored dining on the porch, as well as appreciating the spa, hammock and fire pit. The experience is exactly what you see in the pictures.
One of our most delightful memories is the breakfast delivery which provides numerous options Israeli style. We also enjoyed a sunset hike in the surrounding hills where there are some ancient ruins.
We also enjoyed a wine tasting our first night and learning about the vineyard and wine making.
Finally, we can't say enough about the staff. So friendly, helpful and accommodating. (Thank you Yan).
We highly, highly recommend this place and plan to return.

Exceptionally quiet location in the desert. Wake up to birds. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable, cosy cabin with very good heat and immediate hot water. Nice young staff that was very helpful. A great jumping off place to visit nearby sites in the Negev. Not great value for money but a wonderful experience in a working farm with a vineyard that has been lovingly created out of the desert. Perhaps the pricing is related to being in the desert or that we were there New Year’s Day. For dinner, you have several options. Can buy a limited selection of food in the shop on the farm. Can take in as we did from a restaurant in Mizpah Ramon. Or, go out to dinner either there or in the nearby kibbutz. We had a lovely stay. There is an on-site sauna which we did not use. Also, there is a little plunge pool in front of the cabin which we did not use because it was winter time.

Carmey Avdat is a treasure. The location is spectacular, a true oasis in the desert. The hosts are gracious and also inspiring for their love of the land and their commitment to building this beautiful place as well as ensuring the comfort and enjoyment of their guests. We enjoyed the quiet of our private cabin, with its own small pool and shaded deck surrounded by trees and flowers. We loved taking walks around the farm and into the hills. The hosts and their staff are super-friendly and knowledgeable, happy to answer questions and make suggestions about where to go and what to look for. The Israeli-style breakfast (eggs, fresh bread, cheeses, salads, fruits and pastries), delivered to our door every morning, was a delicious luxury. In all ways Carmey Avdat Farm is outstanding.

Carmey Avdat Farm a wonderful and friendly place
Carmey Avdatfarm was the perfect place for us to stay. We are walking the Israel National Trail and needed a place near to the trail. Four of us had 2 cabins for 2 nights. Check in was quick and polite and we were given a welcome bottle of wine. The cabins were comfortable and clean and the bed was comfortable. It is not a luxury hotel but a farm cabin accommodation. It gave us everything we needed. As we were leaving early each day they brought us our breakfast in a cooler box the night before. Breakfast was delicious and fresh and we had the facility to cook eggs in the cabin kitchenette. There was more than enough to enable us to make sandwiches to take for our lunch on the hike.
Thank you Carmey Avdat for being so helpful we would have liked to have had time to explore your winery and farm and farm shop but were too busy trekking. Next time!

Perfect for what we Wanted
We loved our stay and give it the highest rating, recognizing at the same time that it might not be for everyone. You get a wonderful breakfast in the morning that is delivered to your room. We were there two nights and cooked in the room both nights using food purchased from their small store. There is no common area and so the place is not ideal if you're looking to socialize with
others. The staff was very helpful. The winery is a major reason to go but it wasn't our reason as
distinguishing red from white pretty summarizes our abilities. However, the winery is a major reason why many come to the Farm.

Really unique experience!
Our stay at Carmey Avdat was the highlight of our trip to Israel. We would have liked to stay longer! The accommodation was truly unique with a magnificent view. The wine tasting was exceptional and the wine itself was better tasting than a lot of the wines produced here in Virginia.
Breakfast was a do-it-yourself with all the ingredients included-eggs salad, condiments, bread, etc.
The staff was very helpful.
Everything about this experience was just amazing!

Environmentally friendly hotel n in the Negev.
Breath taking views from our cabin. We walked every day before breakfast on the beautiful scenic paths near our cabin One path was part of a National Park. We found our breakfast fresh and delicious. We had a mini kitchen. The bed was comfortable. The floor was very unusual. It was near everything we wanted to see and more. Wine produced on farm was provided as an extra. Soap was naturally made on premises. If something was missing staff would get it immediately. We could make dinner in our cabin or eat out We usually chose the latter. Therewas a min stor on the premises.

We had a FANTASTIC stay at Carmey Avdat. The privacy, amenities, and breakfast were all much appreciated and the surroundings couldn't be better. We loved the farm trail, a half-hour walk/hike that brings you around the property. We'll definitely come back.

An Oasis in the Desert
What a treat! We truly didn't know what to expect, because the photos don't do it justice. But when we arrived, we were in heaven. Driving through the vineyards to get there, we were warmly greeted and escorted, through a path filled with bursting pomegranate and fig trees, to our first rate cabin - spacious, well equipped (including a beautiful mosaic-tiled bath, fully stocked kitchen, etc.) We were on top of the world, with a hammock to rest in, a mini-pool to dip in and the moon and stars lighting up the sky. We were lucky enough to be there at harvest time and picked a whole row of Merlot grapes. When we arrived back at or cabin, a breakfast feast awaited us - fresh eggs, milk, cheese, baked bread, yogurt, two salads (with dressings), cereal and watermelon. We stayed only one night but will definitely come back for two. We took great hikes in the Mitzpe Ramon - only a 15 minute ride away.

One night at Carmey Avdat Farm
Stayed at Carmey Avdat Farm earlier this week for one night and it was a terrific departure from a standard hotel. The room was perfect and very comfortable. I was concerned that it would be cold given it is mid-January however the heater warmed it up well and I was ok to wear a light shirt. We stayed in one of the rooms with a pebble floor which made it even more interesting. The wine is good too. If you choose to stay here I recommend buying your groceries / food prior to check-in to save yourself from having to go out and find a supermarket. There is a supermarket at the university which is approximately a 10 minute drive from Carmey Avdat Farm. Google maps found the farm without any problem.

Wonderful Bed and Breakfast in the Negev!
We loved this bed and breakfast. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We were greeted as soon as we stepped out of our car, helped to our cabin, then given a tour which included wine tasting. We stayed in a lower cabin that was tucked in the vineyard and was very nice. There is a kitchenette in the cabin so you can bring food with you to prepare yourself. The included breakfast was plentiful and delicious. This was our favorite place to stay while we were in Israel, I just wish we could have stayed longer!
